ロイヤル ホテル ランドウィック

ビーチ・大学・競馬場に近い雰囲気のあるホテルです。部屋は綺麗で快適です。一階にパブとレストランがあります。

部屋はきれいで居心地もいいです。UNSWまでは歩けます。おいしいカフェも多いです。まわりは静かで、駅に近くて便利です。ただ、お店が少なく10時頃閉まるので買い物はしてから帰った方がいいです。またエレベーターがないので、荷物が大きい人には大変かもしれません。また、一般的なホテルではなくフロントがないので、荷物を預けて外出したい人、レイト／アーリーチェックインしたい人には適しません。

まぁ、海外なら普通です。

シドニーからバスで15分程離れた場所では有るものの街中には飲食店が多く賑わってます。部屋の中はきれいでビジネスホテルとしても利用できます。絨毯敷なので足に優しいです。そしてバー、レストラン併設で夜も賑やか。 ただエレベーターが無いため荷物を上げるのに苦労します。また駐車場も狭いため事前予約と運転に注意してください。

駅から遠いかな

The room was clean and large. Check in was smooth. The hotel clearly made an effort with soundproofing with double doors between the bar downstairs and the hotel rooms upstairs. Some noise still seeped through from the bar but it was muffled. The bigger noise issue is actually the hotel being situated right at the intersection of major roads and you could hear cars and trucks - this could be fixed by double glazing the windows, or wearing earplugs. The location is convenient to Randwick's main streets where there are lots of food options and shops. Transport is easy enough (bus or light rail).

Great place to stay for the races or the airport. Regular at the property, some rooms are better than others in the same price point due to noise or size

I stayed at this hotel twice on my trip, at the beginning and at the end. It was close to places I wanted to see. I chose a room with twin size, since it was just me. In both stays, room was too small for the price I paid. The layout was also a bit problematic. In the second room, hot water did not work on the sink. I did not try the bar. If you are okay with small rooms and do not have a large suitcase, you may consider this hotel.

Nice hotel and very good location 15 min. Walk to Coogee beach and beach area.

Hotel was very handy for University Graduation Ceremony. Much appreciated.

It’s the second time we stayed in the same hotel. Everything is good. Will be back in the future.

There were a couple of minor issues but the staff were amazing and eager to help us.

I wanted a less corporate, less CBD experience of Sydney - and the Royal Randwick gave me that. The room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked to the point of refrigeration if need be. Great experience, and excellent value for money. If you want to visit the CBD, there was a tram line directly to the Cirular Quay.

Good value for what you got - room was VERY compact, but comfortable, quiet & clean, so for the price definitely recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but the room was not very clean. I saw hair in the shower and found a cockroach in the toilet. Arguably it was summer, nevertheless i remained nervous for the rest of my visit.
