スタッフは親切。チェックイン前に荷物を預かってくださったスタッフの方はよく気配りができていて感じが良ったです。また、私が不注意で朝食の時ミルクを溢した時もレストランのスタッフの方、嫌な顔をも見せず、綺麗に片付けてくださりありがとうございました。感謝します。部屋は広く清潔。 ホテルの立地は、交通はトラムの駅が近く至便。中華街に近く、スーパーも数軒先にあり、食には困らない。 着いた日レストランのトイレに入ったら、鍵が中から開けられなくなった時には困惑しました。部屋のタオルが一種類足りない日があったり、使ったバスタオルが回収されなかった日があったところは改善すべき点でしょう。

All 4 of our rooms were not ready - that meant hanging around for over an hr after 3pm and long travel - room next to aircon plant ! So much for an upgrade and then wifi is for the old ages - it cost me some work time ! Completely unacceptable

Well above average middle range hotel - excellent staff and restaurant

We had to wait some time before we could access our room due to some mystery maintenance issue. Front desk staff didn't seem to onow what was going on. Room smelt of cigarette smoke, luckily the aircon had a deodorise type function. Room wasn't serviced regularly despite indicating we wanted service. We noticed some food crumbled into the carpet just outside the elevators which took three days before it was vacuumed up. Fire alarm went off at 1am on our first night and then stopped after 5 minutes. No explanation given. Breakfast buffet was okay, lack of variety of fresh fruit and they ran out of clean cups and plates. Great location, but even on the upper floors you can still hear the bars down below.

Room was newly refurbished, checkin was quick and easy. All staff were courteous.

Everything was great

The foyer had a gorgeous smell. The room was modern and spotless. Loved the idea of getting a credit voucher for not getting room cleaned daily. I will definitely stay next time in Melbourne.

The Rydges was perfect for a quick solo getaway in the city. The room was large and clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooftop pool was lovely - perfect temp and with a great view! For the price, you really can’t beat this. I’ve stayed at a number of 5 star hotels in Melbourne and this was right up there.

Everything was fine but there should be ice more easily available. Breakfast was totally repetitive!

Bed was so comfortable, property recently renovated and everything is fresh and lovely.

Room was good

Excellent time at Rydges. We were on the top floor and it was mostly very quiet with a great view. We did experience some humming from some equipment in the adjacent room, so next time will request a different room. But that was the only negative. Everything else was spot-on.

Stay was okay for 1 night. Pros: Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Cons: Room was quite small and stuffy. Ordered Toastie snack at 10.30pm for room service and it arrived closer to 11pm. Came in a cardboard box in a brown paper bag amd they have the cheek to charge me $6 tray service charge…! No one was coming back to collect it !! Four Fire engines arrived outside of hotel around 11.30pm. My husband was coming back to hotel from a function at this same time and called to say he wasn’t allowed into the hotel. I was in the hotel room and had no knowledge of what was happening down stairs. I heard the sirens and saw the lights reflecting in the street, but there were no alarms or evacuation undertaken even though the fire doors to the lifts were closed. Buffet breakfast next day was ok. Very expensive at $45pp and then having to pay for a coffee/late on top…should be included at that price. Had to ask staff for plates as they ran out and hadn’t been replenished. Went to get some apple juice….none left…also had to ask for spoons. Buffet layout terrible. Pastry offering poor also as ran out of items and not replenished at 9.30am…when.buffet runs to 11am.

Another great stay at the Rydges, we stay here for location, saw a theatre show and taxi ride to MCG for a concert , this is our go to hotel in Melbourne, so clean and spacious and nothing is any trouble for the amazing staff always helpful
