The Seranin Gordon is an affordable hotel, so don't expect the Ritz and you will be happy with it. Gordon is a beautiful and safe suburb of Sydney and there are shops there with everything and all the services you could need. In addition, there are many restaurants catering to a wide range of tastes. Transportation there is easy on the trains, although it would be great if the hotel was a little closer to the station. It's a less than 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel, all on paved sidewalks, but it does take a bit of time. At least to get to the station, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, but it's probably faster just to walk it. The room I had was clean and on the Pacific Highway side of the hotel. This meant there was a small amount of road noise, but it didn't disturb my sleep or anything else. It wasn't huge, but was fine for one person and everything was clean. There was a refrigerator, kitchen sink and microwave along with cutlery and crockery. Some people might complain that the room was not serviced every day, but that doesn't bother me at all. Everything was modern and worked reasonably well. The shower was far better than the average hotel shower with abundant hot water. In summary, the Seranin Gordon is clean, convenient and reasonably priced. That ticks all the boxes for me and I'd happily stay there again.

Great location close to restaurants and shops. Bit noisy from traffic right next to the highway but still good. Staff very helpful and welcoming even though we had a self checkin. Price was very competitive.

No guide as to restaurants or places that could deliver food

The motel should have double glazed windows to prevent the traffic noise from coming in. The fact that there was no one at the reception desk the last two times that I stayed there made me think there were no staff on site and this is a fire and safety risk.

Easy check-in and checkout. Good checkout time.

Location is great

This is our third time staying at Seranin Gordon and we appreciate the facilities at the hotel. Our daughter and family live near and it is very convenient for visiting and also getting to the city. We find the staff very friendly and helpful and were pleased to see Alishia again. Looking forward to our stay again next year.

Location is good, you soon get used to either the trains or traffic. Its there but not intusive. The property is newish but was built on the cheap, lots of water pooling and worn out inclusions like windows, carpets, doors. Some furnishings have not held up well. The staff are the biggest asset, they can't do enough, but in saying that, they state check out is between 10 and 11 am, the door knocking begins at 9.30 am and gets intrusive by 10.30 am. Initial access to the building can be tricky for out of towners. Theres some good food places near by. Overall it is good, hopefully they dont mess up your booking. That's a whole review right there, but Ill keep that between me and the staff as they worked hard sorting out someone elses stuff up.

Okay stay but the room was small. Kitchenette in the room but no stovetop.

The Air conditioning did not work and there was little interest in fixing it

Very comfortable and close to a railway station into Sydney cbd. Short walk to Gordon shops and station. On the highway but quiet. Underground parking available. We always stay gere when we visit family in Sydney.

Property is between highway and train line yet surprisingly quiet Would stay again!

Proximity for travellers as it’s just along major road like the Pacific motorway as well as from food shops and petrol stations. Has ample veranda or balcony space that has view of trees and birds like the friendly cockatoos which made our overnight stay unique and special.
