It is a nice, clean place and perfect for an affordable stopover. The building is a little old and does need some maintenance but the place is comfortable, staff friendly and you got to love the breakfast packs. No kitchen but microwave, cutlery, toaster and kettle available. The pool is beautiful and the friendly horse on the adjoining farm makes this place a huge hit with the kids.

Room service refused. There is no continental breakfast as per amenities listed, they just hand out cereal boxes.

Room was clean staff friendly the whole place is looking a bit old and not sure if the restaurant section is open anymore . The pool Isn't open but guess it's early November maybe it's not going to open till December.Its a quiet place I believe new owners this year ,not far from town.The area is great to explore This motel is probably the best choice in the town and with some fixing up will look much better having the breakfast box was a nice idea. If you're looking to stop in the town then I recommend it a simple no frills motel with lots of potential

This is a traditional country motel which follows the classic U shaped configuration with ample parking in the centre space. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. The rooms are traditional, with older furniture and fittings but clean, bright and spacious. Everything worked perfectly including the TV, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. The shower was simple to use, powerful and stable with the temperature. The motel is on the edge of town, but only a few minutes by car to a small but adequate number of facilities including Country Club (Bowlo), pub, Chinese restaurant / takeaway and the Woolworths Supermarket and BWS Bottleshop. You could easily walk it in about ten minutes. We had a delicious roast dinner at the Commercial Hotel / Pub - and good value too. There are other food / drink outlets, but some have limited opening hours, so you need to take note. The in room breakfast at the Ship was included in the booking and included cereal, muesli bars, juicebox and milk. Tea and coffee included too. Rooms were serviced daily - a rarity these days since COVID. We stayed for 5 nights and found it to be comfortable, quiet and most welcoming, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff.
