Good,friendly check in, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Best bathroom on our tour so far.

The Stanley hotel had a lot of character for an older building but has all the mods cons and is very well looked after.

Location was great, room was clean and well stocked

Excellent room, very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay staff very helpfull.

Room immaculately clean. Room wee bit claustrophobic. Temperature of shower water inconsistent. Food was outstanding.

The staff were so helpful and really really friendly. We loved our stay.

Balcony view of the town and the Nut was very good. The parking was off the street in hotel carpark. Dinning was very good, and bookings are advisable. Would stay there again.

Staff were good but the stairs finished us off. We are older than most but the very steep stairs were a real problem. The room was clean and good layout and having the clothes washing and drying was a real advantage. The local area was amazing and valuable

Old heritage pub accommodation was different to our normal booked accommodation. Narrow halls and low ceilings at steps made things interesting but enjoyable. Reception, bar and bistro staff were very good. Dinner was great, especially the scallop pot pie.

In centre of historic part of town, close to everything. Good views & dining. Warm with good shower. Friendly helpful staff.

Lovely room however has stairs to rooms. Staff were awesome and room was lovely.

Great location, friendly staff. Lovely room. great veranda. but shower was cold. the hot water never came through.

Clean and quiet

Plenty of heating including a fire place which we would have used had we stayed longer. Appreciated the electric blanket - the only warm bed I experienced in a 2 week winter road trip. The washing machine and drier was an added boon.

Ideally located with everything in walkable distance of the property.

Very simple and clean accommodation which is fine given the physical limitation of the colonial inn. For older people, people with weigh and or knee issues, and people with mobility issues it is worth noting that that the heritage stairs are narrow as are the treads, also one you get to your room you may have to go up or doown a couple of stairs to access the ensuite. This is not something that can be changed given the nature of the building but people booking might want to check regarding accessibility.
