Beautiful location, we sat and watched the southern lights from the verandah. Short drive to Cockle creek Good fishing around the corner off the rocky point as well as off the jetty. Would definitely recommend.

This house was so peaceful that I wish we stayed a week. The view and the sound of the ocean was so relaxing and we had the best sleep on our 14 day trip around Tassie. I woke up early to watch the sunrise and saw in the front yard a white kangaroo!

The cottage was close to Hastings caves

Summertime Cottage has fantastic water views from the comfort of the lounge and front patio so you can't help but relax and enjoy the comforts of the cottage. Generously shared, beautifully furnished, well equipped and very clean.

Beautiful spot for view from the house and lovely holiday location. Bit of a problem with a sour milk odor in the house- probably resulted from some spilled milk that couldn’t be accessed to be cleaned quickly. Bed and furniture not fabulously comfortable - very much a beach shack. Great communication and allowed a later check out last minute.

Our stay at the Summertime Beach Cottage was great. The views from our cottage were awesome and we could fall asleep listening to the ocean. The Tavern is less than 5 minutes away and with friendly staff so the location of the cottage is good. The facilities at the cottage had everything we needed so it was definitely a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Arrived to find cleaners had forgotten to do their job. Owner is interstate and unaware. Due to some extreme weather the power was out, which meant no water also With no communication about services we had to find alternative accomodation- very hard to do on 30th dec near Hobart

Quiet surroundings, lovely view, good amenities for a holiday cottage. Only observation: - it would have been useful to know that the last place to purchase provisions for a self- catering stay is in Dover. The store at the local tavern is completely inadequate, although the tavern itself is a great place for meals and has a very friendly atmosphere.
