ホテルの外観、ロビーはヨーロッパのシャトー風。ホテルの周辺は、豊かな緑、葡萄畑、ワイナリーと風光明媚そのもの。贅沢な休日を過ごすにはぴったりのホテルです。ただ、虫除け対策は必要です。

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. But it is not a recent construction. I hardly recommend the convent if you are traveling to the Hunter Valley

The Convent is a lovely place to stay in Pokolbin, with delightfully pleasant and helpful staff. The ambience is quite in keeping with the style of the building as is the decor and the artwork. Our room had a queen size bed and private bathroom and it opened on to a large veranda with nice comfortable cane furniture. The bed was however not the most comfortable one we have slept on with the mattress being quite hard. The shower was over a high bathtub which was awkward to negotiate. Thankfully there was a grab rail. For a property being marketed as a Luxury Hotel the bed linen and towels were not up to standard. Our vanity didn’t have hot running water, which made shaving uncomfortable. Apart from those comments we enjoyed our stay thank w

Wir waren 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel und haben es geliebt. Das Haus ist sehr historisch und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Das zugehörige Restaurant Circa ist ebenfalls sehr speziell und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses exzellente Hotel gehen. PS.: Man sieht regelmässig Kängurus, Hasen und jede Menge schöne Vögel.

The main stand out for us in addition to the beautiful building and gardens was the helpful friendly staff. From Reception, to the breakfast waier to housekeeping.
