Check in was great as was dinner. Food and service amazing. Breakfast on the other hand, Showed up just before 930. No one to greet us. After a few minutes someone appeared and sat us. Ordered soft poached eggs and a few sides to share. Around 10, wondering where food is as checkout is 1030. Food shows up. Eggs are rock hard. Look around no staff. Go to kitchen behind closed door. Find 3 staff having a chat. By the time eggs made again, sides all cold and in a rush to check out. Should have given free breakfast a miss!

Absolutely love The Louise Lodge - was our second stay. Will be back again soon.

WOW - The Louise is in a class by itself. Wonderfully appointed suites (only 15) located in a beautiful pastoral setting among the vineyards. World class service and the all inclusive nature of the resort makes it an easy place to visit, or go back to. I was told that the Louise is the “only” place to stay when in Barossa and now I know why. Highly recommended !

There are not enough superlatives to describe our brief stay at The Louise. From the moment of our booking to our last minute on property, our stay was curated to our every need and interest. Huge thank you to Graham for o planning our overnight in the Barossa. Our suite was gorgeous with a view of the valley, the food was delicious, and the wine pairings were perfect. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Louise. The staff there was very attentive and friendly during our 2-night stay there. They always had a smile and made it a truly comfortable experience. The restaurant Appellation had the most amazing and unobstructed view of the vineyards. We found it very relaxing to watch sunset every evening as we dined there.
