Staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. The only downside was a shortage of hanging spaceI would definitely recommend the Royce.

Excellent service. Loved the Art Deco designs everywhere, especially in the suite, as well as the Showroom Bar. The Terrace was a wonderful place to have breakfast too. The cocktails at the Showroom Bar were original and delicious too!

Very posh hotel with great quite location, still close to city, you can take a tram or a quick 15 mins ride into the city. Clean and well-appointed.

I stayed in one of the premium suites and while the facilities themselves were absolutely beautiful, the experience was completely overshadowed by the staff’s inflexibility and attitude. For a hotel at this price point, you’d expect a level of warmth, professionalism and basic accommodation for guests simply wanting to enjoy their stay. Instead, every request felt like pulling teeth and there was zero effort to be welcoming or solutions-focused. It’s a real shame, because the property is stunning – but the staff could benefit from remembering that hospitality is meant to feel hospitable.

Amazing facilities, great location, nice staff.

Modern refurbished hotel, staff are friendly, however bar is expensive and lacks ambience. Individual toiletries which was a positive however they were not refreshed during 4 night stay.

A very glamorous and decadent hotel. The staff at reception, Oliver and Sam, are delightful and very helpful. I loved the whole feel of the hotel and location is great. I will stay again.

Terrific place!

the only issue was parking ($70 extra ontop of accomodation with no street parking over 3 hours was a big ask), everything else was amazing! we would definetly stay again

Clean room

Came to Melbourne for the day on a quick overnight business trip that happened to be on my birthday. They were able to accommodate an early check in as we landed early. And once they realized it was my birthday, upgraded my room and sent a little treat in the afternoon. A nice surprise after a day of meetings. We had breakfast twice and it was amazing food, great selection, and service. Room was clean, modern, and the bed was so comfortable. I only wish I had more time there. The bar looked great! But we didn’t have time to check it out. I will definitely be back and stay at Royce next time….and more than one night.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Amenities were amazing, clean and well maintained. Restaurants were warm and relaxing with terrific food and drink options.

Gorgeous property. Room was spacious. Immaculately clean. Bathroom was well laid out and the Dyson hairdryer was a nice touch. Good selection for room service menu. Close to transport and restaurants. Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.

Food served from the restaurant is always of a high standard, well-presented and flavoursome. Although a little pricey, I still do enjoy every mouthful. Due to the high price of desserts at $27, I refuse to order them...which, of course, is in my favour (less calories)! The Royce rooms are spacious and luxurious, especially the bathrooms! In my opinion, the bed is comfortable for me. However, I do realise that each person's needs are diverse. I highly recommend you pamper yourself and stay at The Royce, as I am sure that you will enjoy it too!!! 💖 Thank you for another enjoyable stay and please continue to offer the exceptional services which you currently provide!!! 🥰
