We were back after a 12 year hiatis. Very comfortable motel room with 2 bedfooms. It is dug into the hillside, which keeps it cool. There is also air con. There is a basic kitchen with thepossibility to cook in the kitchen in the main house. We loved sitting outside for breakfast. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Loved the whole experience of underground place was comfortable & clean

Greetings was fantastic, map of area was shown with things to do, utensils, coffee availability was also good, aircon was on one setting and we could not change, shower water flow was poor, bed not made even though we were there for two nights. Door handle broken.

A very cosy little Motel with very warm staff.

Friendly greeting and there is covered parking. Very noisy in windy conditions and emergency preparations were woeful when power was cut.

This is was a great experience. The owner/manager provided excellent service. Great suggestions for dinner and for the underground mine museum. The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean. There is a barbecue which would have been great to use but we chose to go out to Big Winch 360 on their recommendation. It was excellent.

Great atmosphere and friendly helpfull staff. Close to shops, dinning and tourism attractions.

Check-in was quick, easy and welcoming. Our underground room was meticulously clean, a comfortable temperature and very quiet. The shared kitchen was generously set up and roomy, with plenty of crockery and appliances and the staff were very helpful and friendly - as well as understanding and generous about an accidental breakage in our shower. It is an excellent place to stay while you explore this fascinating town.

The managers/owners are lovely and the room was great, with plenty of room and amenities. Great views from the front of the hotel and on top of it too. Loved our stay

The Underground Motel is a unique place to stay as you are underground. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport. The rooms are cleaning and the couple who run it are very friendly and helpful.

Interessante, ungewöhnliche Unterkunft, ideal für eine Nacht. Sehr sauber. Mit guter Gemeinschaftsküche. Einfacher Check in und Check out. Sehr nette Mitarbeiterin.

We arrived late and everything was laid out for us in terms of instructions. Small room that had a shared communal kitchen was little sad but still worked for us. More asking people to be considerate of their fellow guests didn’t make any difference and the bedroom backed on to carport which was also quite loud. Enjoyed the underground experience which is what we were after, great views and awesome concept

The obvious special quality was being underground. 23degrees all day and night. Well finished with some art works. And a helpful generous manager.
