A really good honest clean motel - not much in the way of frills, but a comfy bed, a spacious room and bathroom and very friendly staff with a super efficient and friendly check in.

Very spacious room and great facility in picturesque location. Quiet and a very short drive to main Town Centre Shower pressure than adequate. Some updating to be done (eg basin tap washers) but otherwise an ideal place to stay Will return - best Tumut experience to date

I will start this review by saying that I will stay at this motel next time I stop in Tumut. The room we had was very large, spotless and comfortable. The room was advertised as having a kitchenette, which it had, but it lacked the thing you would expect in a kitchen, specifically bread and butter plates, teaspoons, potato peeler, sharp knife, one wine glass and a good set of instructions on how to operate the electric stove. When I spoke to the manager about these problems he came to the room and gave instructions on how to use the stove and provided the missing plates. At all times the manager was very courteous and helpful. Although the motel is situated on the highway there was no road noise at night allowing for a very good night's sleep.

Stayed for two nights, the room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly. The room we had was a bit tired and the TV connection was very poor.

We were given an upgrade which we didn’t need as it would have been easier to heat a smaller room on such a cold night. The split system heater was inadequate for the large room and we needed to have it on 30 to warm us even with 1 bedroom closed off. We kept it on all night. We put blankets on the floor near the door and curtains to keep the cold air out. They have made some effort to upgrade the rooms but everything is pretty basic.

I have stayed at this motel many times and it has always been very clean and comfortable.

I reported to management that a tap could not be turned off properly due to the worn washer nothing was done

This motel was exceptionally clean. They were very organised for our arrival, which was after reception close, and provided clear instructions for accessing the room.
