Chalets & Apartments Wachterhof

Looking forward to a quite vacation in the arms of the beautiful mountains, i was greeted by Bulldozers and road construction. And the worse part is, it was being done by the owner of the Chalet i rented. It just sliped his mind to mention this in his confirmation email right? Right! So instead of waking up to the sounds of birds and the smell of wet grass, i woke up everyday to the sounds of big machines working the road and the smell of tar and diesel. To make things even worse, facilities mentioned in the web site about the chalet were not available, reflecting misleading info. Waching machine and a dryer mentioned online were not available, wifi was bad and needs logging into a website with a user and password everytime, the hot tub was sit at auto cleanup at 10:00pm so u cant use it after that (i had to request to extend the time). Insects were everywhere everyday, from flys to huge mosquitoes and other weird looking insects, it was a war everyday trying to find and kill them b4 we went to bed. Imagine sleeping in mid of july unable to open the window so u don't get ur blood sucked by one of these Dracula mosquitoes. And by the end of our stay, while finally checking out, the owner had the nerves to ask for €150 for cleanup! A complete ripoff! Cambodia was better!
