Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr nette Inhaberin, die sehr bemüht ist alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Sköna sängar, utmärkt frukostbuffé och hemtrevlig miljö gör att jag gärna rekommenderar hotell Oase. Vi reste utan bil i juli månad och kom med tåg till Bad Ischl och stannade i fem nätter. Vistelsen var mycket trevlig och givande. I närheten av hotellet ligger en utmärkt restaurang i lantlig miljö, Nocken Toni, och det finns underbara promenadvägar i närheten av hotellet. Det ligger dock en bit utanför Bad Ischls centrum i den lilla orten Kreutern som det tar cirka 30-40 minuter att gå till. Dock stannar bussen från Salzburg på huvudvägen några hundra meter från hotellet (något vi tyvärr inte kände till).

Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb gelegen, aber mit Auto ist man dennoch rasch in der Stadt. Leider dzt. in Bad Ischl Großbaustelle, aber dafür kann "das Hotel" nichts. Frühstückspension, jedoch ein gut bürgerliches Gasthaus in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein zweites Lokal, etwas "feiner" ebenfalls in der Nähe bzw. mit Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Considering that this is a 3-star Hotel and not a pension, we were surprised that there was no phone in the room, the heater did not work properly and the internet was very unreliable, plus the shower did not work. We did report the problems with the heater and we were given a space heater. At check out time we mentioned that the shower didn't work. The owner seemed very surprised. The breakfast was not what we had experienced during this trip in other hotels or B&B places. The tablecloth seemed to be not ironed (which in this part of the world you ALWAYS find to be ironed), yoghurt was not in individual containers. We CANNOT recommend this hotel. It is overpriced for what you get. To report that the heater didn't work, I had to go downstairs from the 2nd floor and ring the bell on the counter. The only positive experience was the recommendation of a nearby restaurant. The owner also gave us a map of Bad Ischl and showed us how to find Café Zauner. The incident with the shower we couldn't report until we checked out, because we used it in the mornings. Very frustrating was that I was in the middle of a process on the internet and I was cut off. That happened repeatedly during the 24 hours that we were staying there. However, it seemed to be a clean place.
