Dirty and old hotel

This was a one week business trip and the hotel was good for saving money. It is located in a good location and they have good amenities. There is a restaurant, pool, sauna, and gym. The whole hotel is dated but they have taken good care of it and everything is clean. The room swrvice didn't come every day to clean but that was ok by me. I would definitely stay here again.

If you need a room this is a decent stay.

Positives: Location, friendly staff, room size, super comfy bed, clean. Negatives: Old furniture, old elevator, outdoor car parking. Definitely needs upgrades. I did not try the restaurant or the swimming pool. I recommend this hotel for family as it has no bar or nightclub.

First they didn’t find my booking and was informed at front desk that it happens it doesn’t show in their system and it happened before with many families. They switched my room without my consent while my luggage in the room and I wasn’t in the hotel regardless that they had my phone number and email.

this is the worse hotel i ever stayed inn, the laundry knocking my door at 12am !! the floor and the table is dirty and smell bad , the table is full of cigarettes burn , i asked for a towel for bathroom the man bring it and angry hecsed you have whyvorder extra , i advise people not use this hotel dont think

We always enjoying staying in this hotel on our visits to Bahrain. It is is well located with friendly and helpful staff.

Great room

We arrived unexpectedly late due to a long flight delay caused by bad weather but the staff were friendly and helpful when we registered, though we arrived too late for room service. The room was very large, unexpectedly had tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable, though we could have done with a cabinet or similar on both sides. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room price and was delicious with a very good range of cereals, hot and cold food, fruit and pastries and bread. It certainly set us up for the day so we didn't need to bother with lunch. All the staff were very polite and helpful and a nice touch was arriving back to our room one evening to find a bouquet of flowers wishing me a Happy Mothers' Day! Our shower didn't appear to be working and the maintenance person who came to take a look managed to sort it, though the hot and cold symbols on it had been incorrectly transposed. The water was eventually hot but we never got it hot enough again. We reported a flickering light in the bath but this was never sorted out. The hotel was conveniently near a couple of large shopping malls, but the area was lacking in small restaurants. Few taxi drivers knew where it was and confused it with another hotel with a similar name. All in all, it was a comfortable, quiet, reasonably-priced hotel with polite and helpful staff and a delicious breakfast buffet. Recommended.

they gave me smoking room instead of non-smoking. Breakfast is not good unfortunately. not value for money. Location is the best part of the hotel but so many other hotels around

It was extremely easy to find and a straight shot from the airport. The building is very nice and I loved the fact that they had a separate gym and sauna for women. The hotel is close to 2 major malls, but is not walking distance to anything except a cinema, if you are up to the walk. All the picture I saw showed a tub in the room and when they say twin beds, they really mean tiny/narrow twins. I was told they had an airport shuttle, but it turns out it is a paid taxi. I rented a car when I found this out the hard way. I had communicated with the hotel for a pick-up and they failed to reply. I had mentioned when I booked, and we discussed at check-in that I was really looking forward to the bathtub. I was told that my room had a king bed and tub...at 12:30am, I was not happy to see neither in my room. When I returned to the desk I was upgraded, but the joke was on me as there was no hot water the entire weekend. I did not find this out until almost midnight both nights, so it was not worth the hassle to complain at that hour.

They were increased the rate of the night from 70$ to 97$ so l left . It was agood hotel before 7 years but know it is a horrible place

Overall, a good value-for-money hotel. I stayed for 4 nights over the new-year's day holiday. All the things that really matter, such as location, spaciousness of the room, comfy bed & pillows, lots of storage space, regular house-keeping, decent breakfast etc. were all fairly good. Some very minor things that could use improvement, (If i'm being picky) - Bathroom full-body showers were fixed on top-shower only mode - Wifi was average. Speed was ok but not great. Required re-connection with new password each day of stay - No comfy hotel slippers in rooms - Ladies gym equipment not all working - The walk to the restaurant on Mezzanine level is through a dank, dull 80s style corridor which requires some dusting - Lobby was under renovation and only one corner desk was open. - Although location is in a peaceful, non-busy street there is not much of a view. Only vacant plots and gas-station I would recommend Gulf Court Hotel. Overall i had good stay. There are no less than 4 malls at 5 minutes drive time from the place. Certainly no horror stories like you hear from other 2 and 3 star motels. The hotel is no-frills, but offers great value for money and there isn't much to complain about except for the minor points mentioned above which are easily overlooked in at this price.
