If you’re looking for a quick one night stay, Melbourne Inn will suffice. Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. They were also helpful when a friend thought she lost her AirPods there. They did a very thorough look of the rooms and the restaurant hoping to find them for her. The rooms are small and not very updated but not bad for a one night stay. Had we been staying longer than that, I would’ve made alternate plans. The bed was comfortable but we had to remake it because they put the blanket under the sheet and it was the roughest, itchiest blanket ever. The tv in our room (#14) was SUPER small (at best 24in) compared to TVs in other rooms (we had friends in other rooms). The bathroom was tiny and there was very little counter space outside the bathroom to get ready. We had breakfast at the new restaurant on site and it was mediocre. Wait staff seemed confused by their own menu. I had a blueberry pancake that was definitely not a blueberry pancake. Very dry and not flavorful at all. Friends asked for a mimosa and the waiter said they didn’t have that, but champagne and orange juice were listed on the menu. The friend explained how to make it and then they did. Overall, the room served its purpose for a one night stay before going to our actual accommodations. I would not stay longer than that for a vacation.

The staff is so nice! Very clean rooms, pool area is very nice and ver intimate, definitely would recommend! Nice dining options in the surroundings, small supermarket walking distance, beach walking distance. Would stay there again for sure!

Our stay at Melbourne was ok. Value for money

The service was good checking in. We had our own private entrance from the outside which was nice. The pool was clean and beautiful for swimming. The noise at the end of the night, late night as if they were drilling was very annoying. Breakfast is not recommended. They had a few options on their menu but it took forever to come out and half way through our wait we were told half of our items were not available. When the bill came they did not take off what we didn’t eat. The room service came every other day which was also nice. Anytime we needed towels of any sort whether for the beach or the room the staff was accommodating.

The staff was amazing, short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Melbourne Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a great location that is walkable to many restaurants. The hotel is clean with a wonderful pool area.

Quite and convenient to little food and bar shops

Got in at minutes to 1am as my flight was delay and got a easy checking. Please could you guys bring back the fridge that you use to have the front desk. I would have love to purchase a drink or juice this morning when I checked in

When I am in Barbados I always stay here. I sleep very well. No hazzle... All is good....

Very Quiet and Safe

I travel monthly and have stayed many places and this place is literally perfect. Let’s begin with the staff; Executive Level Customer Service…Helpful, Responsive, Kind, Patient…Amazing!!! The cleanliness of this property is pristine and I am quite particular… no one comes to my standard even the “5 ⭐️ All Inclusive” and The Melbourne Inn does! Everything you need is in the room, they will even do a load of laundry for $13 USD!!! The outside patio space with every room is a crazy super bonus. The location is perfect, easy breezy walk to the beach, local market and a plethora of food and drink options. The people everywhere are loving, courteous and helpful. Oh AND the pool, I didn’t even realize there was a pool and it is perfect…so so clean and refreshing. I will stay here every time I come to Barbados. I truly feel blessed like tha I found on my very first visit to Barbados the gem 💎 of hospitality…Melbourne Inn. I prefer smaller places as I don’t want to trek all over a property and take 10mins to get to the front door…this place is perfect, pristine clean and phenomenal customer service. Thank you so much for the perfect home away from home ❣️

Location, friendly staff, great food

Great and budget friendly hotel that is a walkable distance to the beach and bars/restaurants in St Lawerence Gap area. The receptionist was also really nice and super helpful. I only had a slight issue with loud guests as the walls are a bit thin but other than that I can't fault much.

They are very accommodating. There was a small issue with our room nothing major but they insisted we be relocated to another room which by the way was an upgrade to our previous room. Also, the staff was very friendly.

Small, quiet and conveniently located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Excellentes vacances à la Barbade

The Melbourne matched our expectations. It was clean and comfortable, value for money. This was a fairly short notice trip so we couldn’t be too extravagant so the Melbourne was sufficient. We had a great time in Barbados and would not hesitate to stay at the Melbourne again!7

Excellent Location. Responsive Staff. Only drawback was no hot water 2 of 3 days.
