The boardwalk and the beach was great

The hotel was a home away from home ! All the staff were helpful. They recommended places to visit unlike other hotels who like you to stay on the resort. Sonia, Tameka , Shane,Trudy Daniel and everyone else were extremely exceptional!

We enjoyed our stay at the Soco hotel, but there are a few things to take in consideration depending on people’s preferences. It is a very small boutique hotel, that being said there is no entertainment at night and the only bar at the hotel closes at 10:30PM, however they stopped serving at 10:15PM. The clientele is definitely older so that’s something to keep in mind if you are a younger couple. It is a very romantic and quiet hotel. Rooms all have beautiful ocean views, a bit dated, but they are big and spacious. Food is excellent, all meals à la carte which is great for not wasting or overeating. Some of the staff were amazing especially Shane at the bar, but some were nonchalant, a bit dismissive and rude. The beach is stunning, however there is not a lot of space for the beach chairs and they are pretty close together, but you can just walk to other beaches if bothered by it. There’s a nice boardwalk that brings you to other restaurants and beaches which is amazing. Wifi wasn’t great, I’d recommend of getting an ESIM if you need to stay connected or do some work. Check out is at noon and there are no showers in the lobby so if you have a late flight that can be a nuisance, however we were able to get lunch before leaving. Overall we had a great time and weather was amazing so that’s all that mattered!

Everyone from the moment we arrived was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are an excellent size and quite clean. The resort is in the perfect area right at the end of the boardwalk which we walked everyday. We look forward to returning to Soco

Overall good spot. Food is okay. Staff are very friendly. No room service. Good bang for your buck. Nice area and safe.

Everything was great!

This is a little gem of a hotel. The rooms are good but the view from the balcony is amazing. The pool is only small but the sea is right next to the hotel. There is a man made lagoon which means the sea is slightly sheltered, its not deep and you can snorkel there, Food was amazing. Its all a la carte so sometimes you might have to wait a little for your meal but the drinks keep coming. All the staff are friendly and as mentioned in every review - you have to join Michelle's rum tasting!! Totally recommend this hotel.

Amazing time at Soco. Staff was tremendously helpful and polite. The staff treated us like friends and not merely guests.

As an adult hotel we were very disappointed that the bar closed at 10.15pm and no entertainment. The hotel requires a modern ugrade looks tired and worn. Could do with fresh ideas and new furniture. Its in a great spot and the staff are faultess and the food is cooked fresh. We will defiantly visit Barbados again.

The staff makes this place worth your while. They are very accommodating and friendly. You feel like they are your friends. Food was wonderful, too.

The pool was lovely and all the rooms have an ocean view.

Had a wonderful time staying at the Soco Hotel. Perfect mid-range hotel in a very prime location that sits right on the boardwalk. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Shout out to bartenders Zack, Shawn, and Tarik for the great company & drinks at the bar! The view from the rooms was spectacular - just like the photos online. The rooms themselves were very nice and tidy; bathrooms slightly outdated but it still met our needs .The food was delicious, although not buffet-style so if you need late night snacks be prepared to stock up a little stash incase you get hungry later. AC was always consistent and effective in the rooms. Would definitely visit again!

We had a really great stay at the SoCo. The rooms are a bit dated and noisy from the street BUT the staff are lovely (shoutout to Shane, Carter and Doncia), the food was really impressive for an all inclusive and the facilities quite nice. Things are compact but the sunset cannot be beat. We would absolutely stay again when back in Barbados.

The food was terrible and it took forever to get served. There was a cat that would sit on your lap or paw at you while you were eating every day. There was no entertainment, other than a saxophonist one night...didn't even know if he was really playing. There isn't a coffee maker in the room. Only an electric kettle and instant coffe, which never gets restocked. The view was beautiful and so was the beach. The boardwalk is a nice addition. The staff wasn't very chatty. Was just ok. Disappointed for what we paid.

Lots of shops nearby

Beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional staff who were always so pleasant to deal with. Definitely will consider starting again when back to Barbados. The beach is literally a step away from the hotel. Clean rooms but adequate parking is not available. Otherwise, perfect.

The soco hotel staff were amazing,Zack, Shane, Terry, Trudie and all the waitresses made our stay special. Please tell the chefs their food was fantastic every day. The small sandy beach with crystal clear water was only a foot step away. The bus stop right at the front of the property makes getting around so easy. 100% recommend this hotel for an ideal introduction to Barbados.

Smelled bad, looked bad and was just a terrible experience

The beach was amazing and enjoyed activities and many choices of food available
