This place should not even be able to be listed!! When I say run don’t walk from this place I’m not joking! It was horrible, filthy, disgusting, there was mold under the sink where cockroaches were running all over. The roof leaked toilet didn’t flush, did not feel safe here. The beach was nasty! Covers not on electric outlet! Thought the couch was going to break!! Smelled! We booked thevfinca tree house but she put us in the “cottage” which she says was more comfortable??? She was actually living in the place we booked!! We booked it for 7 days and couldn’t stand to be there left 5 days early. Run From this place!!

Good location as a base to explore the peninsula, close to shopping, other beaches, diving. Private beach was a coconut's throw from the balcony to the caribbean. Awoke to striking sunrises and a stiff consistent breeze offset the warmer temperatures.

This property woud work well for the younger backpacker group. The beachside accomadations was a draw for us. We are a couple of friends that came to celebrate our birthdays. The Treehouse was clean but smaller than we expected and it was unpleasant without A/C. The listing does say no A/C so no fault of the owner. There is a pretty fair amount of garbage on the property as well. The only night we spent there was very uncomfortable for us and quite noisy with a loud fight at about 2am on the property. We were concerned that this would not be a good place for us. We ended up booking a different hotel closer to the village with A/C and just accepted the additional expence.
