Staff was very friendly and committed to making the stay pleasant.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Spent the day fishing with Jim the owner! The whole area grows on you. Wonderful stay and experience!!! Not a 5 star but would recommend if you’re looking for a chill time and getting down to the basics !!! Lots of bars and restaurants within a stumbling distance !!!

The best part about our stay was the staff - all of the were kind and friendly. Chris is amazing, exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and informative. She had excellent recommendations and never steered us wrong. Ask her about anything.

Prob the best location you can stay close enough to town but far enough away to be peaceful.

Fantastic! The accommodations are perfect – exactly the rustic and peaceful setting I was hoping for. The only minor issue was the excessive noise from the beach club on Saturday night, but thankfully, it quieted down around 10 pm.

Super friendly and helpful staff, great location for walking to town, restaurants and dive shops. Adorable and friendly kitties that our daughters loved wandering the property and sunning on our porch.

This hotel is perfect for us, except for the nightly noise coming from the beach bar, Wayos, almost directly across the road from Hotel Del Rio. The noise starts around 8 PM every night and doesn't end until midnight or after. We stayed in the Cabana Casita which is a single, hut style room made of natural materials. The room is clean but sparse with a regular sized bed, one night stand table and a couple of built in shelves. It has a mini fridge, and you can ask for a coffee maker if it's not already in the room. The bathroom is small but usable and clean. The location is great if you don't mind walking a few blocks to the main town center area. Optionally you can rent a golf cart and drive. We prefer to walk the beach towards town. They have a dock with chairs and a limited swimming area close by. Restaurant options are close, just down the beach from the hotel. I think that most adventurous travelers will find this a great little gem of a hotel and enjoy their stay. The hotel staff are amazing people! On the other hand, if you're more used to 4 star hotels, you may find this place a bit on the too rustic side.

All the staff at Hotel Del Rio are very kind, helpful and understanding. Gricele went out of her way to set up an accommodation for me and I was very grateful for her. I highly recommend this place as it is very close to everything. It is located right on the water, steps away from downtown and main shopping center.

Spare but adequate and functional facilities with friendly and accommodating staff.

I have been coming to San Pedro for 15 years. I usually stay up north but because of flight delays I decided to stay in town. Hotel Del Rio was a great option. If you are wanting the modern resort experience this isn’t it. But if simple clean comfortable rooms and great staff is your things then this is the place for you.

The safe where so friendly … they even have a breakfast bar on-site… they went the extra mile to print shops/ food location I may like… I will definitely be back soon
