Beautiful resort, we had a two bedroom suite at jaguar reef, it was perfect for our week stay for our family. The staff was friendly and helpful.

After an initial mix-up of the rooms we were given a really nice 2 bed apartment overlooking the sea with a private hot tub. The hotel itself is really nice, very spacious. We had a 2 bed apartment which was massive and had a really good kitchen. The on-site restaurants are good but expensive ($30 USD for a small pizza), but kids' meals are reasonable. The biggest issue (not fault of the hotel) is that there is big sargassum issue from March to June which means you cannot enter the sea from the beach - this was a major disappointment as no picture shows this and there is a strong smell over the entire area. The hot tub is nice but the design meant that water could fall down (onto people walking below). The pools are small but fine. Taxis to the village are very expensive at $25 USD for 2 km but there are free bikes to use on site. The dock is great. Overall, I would recommend outside of the Sargassum season.

Responsive staff, nice and spacious room.

The rooms are spacious and clean. We have a beautiful view of the ocean form a second floor room with a private pool. All very nice!

The penthouse was an excellent option for our family- the well apportioned kitchen was great as we did get tired of overpriced resort food. In general this was a perfectly good beach resort in a pretty quiet corner of Belize. The excursions were excellent and well staffed. We loved that they did toasted marshmallows on the beach at sunset and the diving platform was a hoot. The staff was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help us sort out travel plans etc. if you stay here I recommend you be brave and look around Hopkins for places to eat- the hotel offers bikes for a few dollars and it is a sleepy enough town that this is a reasonable way to get around, and you’ll find the local food super tasty. In general a very reasonably priced place that does a good job.

The staff, the grounds, the room, the food, the drinks, everything was amazing. We had the best stay.

Had a great two night stay at The Lodge at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff members that we interacted with were helpful and accommodating......especially Julio at the front desk! Amazing room and property. Drinks and bartenders from the restaurant bar and the Big Dock bar were awesome. If we ever return to the area I can't imagine not staying here.

The staff is very friendly and kind. The first night we had some issues with the ac in our room, after speaking with Robin in the guest lobby she immediately got her manager on the phone and together they found the best solution to accommodate my family and I immediately. They apologized several times for the inconvenience and provided us with a complementary meal in the restaurant. The food was good and staff once again was pleasant. Great accommodations!

Amazing and quiet place!

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed it so much! The staff are so welcoming and attentive and the resort is well-maintained and clean in a good location. We stayed in a seafront suite and could see the water from our room. The plunge pool could be more private but the view was great. You have to visit the Big Dock Bar and Edgar will take good care of you! We really enjoyed the breakfast options at Paddle House but preferred dinner at Chef Rob’s a few doors down. The vibe is relaxing and chill but we also had a fun day trip snorkeling which was arranged through the concierge. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit!

Our host RJ and Tabitha were the kindest staff! They were caring and friendly in making sure our concerns were addressed. We had a great time at the resort enjoying the beach and amenities. The food was poor but there are great local options in the area which worked out much better!

Clean hotel

Very beautiful property and peaceful stay. It was a little too quiet. I desired a little more night life and entertainment for adults. But maybe that was due to Easter holiday and locals off on vacation. I also desired better food. We did venture off the property and experienced delicious dining options.
