The view from the property can only be described as AMAZING. The surrounding environment was so peaceful and tranquil. The daily evening performance by the staff made us feel so welcomed. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. However, I cannot say the same of the staff at the check in counter. It was a pity that they were not warm or friendly.

Beautiful soothing modern design incorporating traditional Bhutanese details. Second best spa facilities I’ve been to (first is Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués). Food presentation is lovely, yet lacking in taste when it comes to international dishes. We had a most warm welcome with a dance from the staff. Would love to come back! Thank you Dhensa Resort 🙏❣️

Nestled just below the nunnery in Punakha, Dhensa is a gem hotel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Views of the valley below are breathtaking. Staff are friendly, and interested in making sure your stay goes well. January is clearly the off season, so I may have been the only guest the night I stayed. That’s a shame because the hotel is one of the best choices a traveler can make in Punakha if they want comfort and luxury at a reasonable price. Will definitely return and stay longer the next time.

Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra.

The warmth and friendly smile marked the check-in process and that attitude continued through the stay - whether it was at the restaurant or in the rooms. Dhensa Boutique Resort has spacious rooms with well equipped and big bathrooms. It is located on top of a hill with quiet and serene surroundings and a lovely view of the valley
