Afer TWO WEEKS at this porperty in JULY 2026
The BAD : 1) you canNOt get a refund of your prepayment 2) The TENT rooms are made of CANVASS fabric , a lesser protection against heat or cold air 3) the TENT room SIZE holds just the 2 single beds and your 2 bags/suitcases and a lamp table 4) NO fridge or oven in the TENT room 4) NO OVEN in the tent room 5) NO shower nor wc in the tent room 6) Poor lighting inside the tent room for reading purpse.6) No live entertainment in evening in the neighbourhood, no restaurant nor coffee bar.
THE GOOD : 1)staff ready to come and clean 2) quiet surrounding except for dogs barking during the night
My advice : book for 2 nights only AND check around in the neighbourhood for better digs or cheaper alternatives in the KASUNGULA neighbourhood.

The property is found in a rather isolaed environment (no walk-in cafe or restaurant around, no paadded seating(only bench), no varied menu offering).
Room is clened every day but rather small to move in around; staff is willing to help when asked.
INCONVENIENCES : no soap provided to wash one's body in shower though hot water is available; one has to leave one's room in the middle of the night to walk outside to the bathroom to pee or defecate.
No live music scene around or fast food outlet to walk to.
Staff is pleasant .
WiFi is good closer to the main reception desk but really weak past the swimming pool.

We are a retired couple travelling from Zambia through Botswana to South Africa and I am happy that we found this online. Its all we needed, clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower and staff assisted us in ordering takeaways as we arrived too late to order dinner. I would recommend this establishment

Amazing little guesthouse with super friendly staff and the cutest dogs and cat! We really loved our time there and want to come back. The 6-hour safari was perfect, and so was the river cruise safari. We spotted so many animals. We also used the daytrip option to Victoria Falls and it all went smoothly.
The only things that could've made it better are an electric gate (so you don't need someone to open it for you), mosquito nets on the beds, and an option to do a daytrip to Livingstone (because the visa and park fees in Zambia are much lower than in Zimbabwe).
A great place and wholeheartedly recommend! Thanks guys :)

it was a nice place, very nice host and it is comfortable. The only minor issue is parking space, you park behind other cars and it means waking up the owners of other cars if you have to leave early

Friendly owners and staff, free daily lunchtime shuttle to Choppies, helpful with organising tours, the pap with chicken stew was delicious. Slightly isolated location, but cab rides are easily organised (self-drive easy too).

O local é ótimo, super bacana, limpo, organizado. O quarto é espaçoso, limpo, super confortável... A equipe é agradável, todos são muito bacanas. Porém o hostel é longe de tudo, não absolutamente nada perto, nada mesmo, fica no ermo. Se tiver com fome, come no hostel ou não come, e os preços no hostel não são os melhores. Os passeios do hostel são bons, porém fiz o game drive de 6 horas e achei muito caro pelo que oferecem, vi outras agências prestando um serviço melhor, especialmente no café da manhã, o motorista não é tão amigável e absolutamente todos os outros passageiros das outras agências viram leões, menos nós. Achei péssimo, realmente não faria novamente com eles. Recomendo procurarem outra agência para fazerem os passeios por lá e se quiserem ficar na região mais central de Kasane, procurar outro lugar. Sinceramente que acho que não ficaria aqui novamente, devido as dificuldades de acesso e coisas próximas ao local.

This place is wonderful. Highly recommended. The only situation I had was just with sometimes lukewarm showers. But the staff is great and the activities they offer are affordable and fun!
