ロケーションが最高でスタッフもみんな明るくフレンドリーでよかった。サファリは早朝サファリが二回、サンセットサファリが一回しましたがガイドさんが動物がいてるポイントを知っていて雨季なのにたくさん見れてよかった！ライオンも雄も雌も両方見れたので感動しました。いい思い出をありがとうございました。

ここのスタッフは本当にフレンドリーかつ親切です。滞在中二日間街全体が停電になったのですがみんなで工夫してくれて普通以上に快適に過ごせました。またサファリのレンジャーも凄腕です。

コスパがなかなか良くないカサネのホテルですが、こちらはとても良かったです。先の日本人のお二方のレビューを見て決めましたが、大正解でした。 スタッフが皆さん、とても親切でフレンドリー、ダイニングもリビングエリアもプールもすべてリバービューでゆったりくつろぐことができます。ダイニングにはいつもスコーンとコーヒーやお茶が用意してあり、午後はサラダやハム・チーズ、パウンドケーキなどが用意されたハイティーの時間があります。 ゲームドライブも、どのツアーの車よりも新しくてしっかりした車でした。そして、ガイドのマシューさんのプロフェッショナルぶりも完璧で、動物の行く先を読んで車を回してくれるので、いつもばっちり写真を撮ることが出来ます。他の運転手とこまめに情報交換をし、時間をオーバーしてもいる！と読んだ場所には引き返し、マシューさん自身が楽しんで動物を探してくれていました。大規模なホテルのツアーと違って、車の席に余裕があるので、動物の出現によって右に左に移動できる点も良かったです。有名ホテルの車は、どれも満席でしたが、こちらは違いました。 ゲームドライブもホテルで申し込むことをお奨めします。 とにかく、ごみごみ込み合った大規模ホテルとは違った良さがあります。スタッフともすぐ仲良くなれて、楽しい滞在でした。ディナーも値段の割りに本当においしくて豪華で、大満足です。朝食も同じメニューばかりのビュッフェと違って、一人ひとりオーダーの朝食でした。ヨーグルトやチーズなどのサイドメニューはビュッフェ形式なので、お腹も満足です。朝はゲームドライブでスコーンを頂き、遅い朝食をゆったりと食べ、ハイティーをいただき、お昼ご飯は必要なかったです。 街中に出るにはタクシーが必要ですが、すぐに呼んでもらえます。通りに出れば、流しのタクシーもしばしば見かけます。学校が近くにあり、下校時の子どもたちや家畜の牛やヤギが草を食む姿を眺めながらタクシーを待つ時間もまた、良い時間です。ビクトリアフォールズまでの陸路の移動もアレンジしてもらいました。

日本人の口コミがなかったので少し心配でしたが、とっても良かったです！！ あと何泊かしたかったくらい。 とにかくスタッフさんがとても親切でサービスも良かった、そしてご飯もとっても美味しかったです。 チョベ川を眺められる立地も素敵でのんびり出来ました。 部屋数が少ないので、ガヤガヤしていないですし、昼間もゆったりできます。虫はいましたが部屋も清潔でした。 ただ、ホテルの周りには何もありません！ カズングラボーダーとカサネのちょうど真ん中くらいなのでゲームドライブもクルーズもホテルで頼むのが良いかと。 カサネで申し込んでもホテルまで迎えにきてもらえるかは微妙です。 サファリはどれも最高でした！ ガイドさんもとても親切で、お値段以上の経験が出来ました。

It was really nice stay. Staff are all friendly and nice and breakfast afternoon tea, salad, dinner all very delicious. You can drink hot tea or coffee anytime and can enjoy swimming pool for relaxing. Very safe inside the lodge. Safari for water and drive both good and reasonable. Transportation from Victoria falls are very comfortable car. I would love to stay again when I go to Chobe next time. Especially thanks for reception staff Candy for all the arrangement

Very very clean rooms. Great breakfast and light lunch - both included. On riverfront with great view of sunset. No insects despite Kasane being full of bugs. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Amazing 3 nights at this hotel. Firstly greeted by Shingi at reception who told us everything we needed to know, and also pre-booked transfers for us by e mail in advance. Rooms are really nice, comfortable & clean. Showers are great considering the location. Communal dining in the evening is a great way to meet new friends and share experiences. Breakfast was included after the game drive , dinner was extra but very good value. Both the Game Drive & Boat Cruise are amazing and a great opportunity to see Lions, Elephants, Hippo, Buffalo , Crocs & Giraffe. You will not believe how close the guide (thank you Mathew) will get you. In summary, this was an excellent lodge and exceptionally pleased we chose this place.

Lovely small place on Chobe. John was an excellent river cruise guide, who was able to indulge our interest in birds. Staff is very helpful, including tracking down medication from a local pharmacy..

The warmest, friendliest lodge/hotel staff we have ever met at any place we've ever stayed and we've travelled all over the world. Everyone was so friendly and it made our stay absolutely perfect. Service was also 10 out of 10! To all the staff at River View Lodge, don't change a thing in how you do things or treat your guests. You are already doing what ever lodge and hotel around the world should be doing. You were a very big part of what made our trip to Botswana so special and we will always remember you. Before we arrived we were worried about where we would eat every night and didn't want to be stuck having to eating at the lodge if the food wasn't good. We were so impressed with the chef's food the first night we didn't even consider trying to leave the property for food. Every day we were very impressed with the food offerings and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Botswana. Absolutely delicious food at the lodge! The chef and baker are exceptionally good at what they do! Lastly, we want to thank the other person that made our safari trip in Botswana a 10/10 experience. Matthews is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and we loved exploring the park with him everyday. Matthews, thank you so much for the incredible memories you have given us! Every day that passed we enjoyed our game drives and sunset cruises with you more and more! For a smaller lodge with a more intimate experience don't hesitate to book your stay at River View Lodge.

I absolutely loved staying at the River View Lodge. The staff is amazing and SO helpful. The lodge itself is small but very lovely - right on the river,with a nice outdoor lounge area and small pool. The food was great and so much better than I expected for a place its size. Aside from the awesome staff, the best part are the activities offered. On the morning game drive we saw lions, leopards, zebras, and much more. The late afternoon river cruises were relaxing and exciting at the same time, with great views of hippos, crocs, and of course, lots of elephants. I strongly recommend staying here and taking advantage of the wonderful property and activities.

Horrible!

River View is a small resort which offers sn all inclusive experience. The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. There are cooked options for breakfast, a complimentary serve yourself lunch as dinner with two main options. On one of our nights we had a barbeque. They have their own arranged boat safari in the afternoon and early morning game drives. I would definitely recommend River View in Kasane.

We stayed 4 nights in the deluxe chalet. From here, we covered both Chobe and Victoria Falls easily. The activities and excursions put on by the lodge were excellent. Food was great, as was the service. Reasonably priced for the area. We would definitely stay again.

Die River View Lodge war eine der ganz guten Lodges auf unserer Rundreise. Die Lodge liegt direkt am Chobe River und ist aufgrund ihrer Grösse sehr familiär und überschaubar. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sofia, die Managerin vor Ort, war bereits im Vorfeld sehr unterstützend und auch während des Aufenthalts. Wir haben uns in der River View Lodge sehr wohl und auch sehr willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Preis-Leistung stimmen hier leider nicht. Obwohl alle den Eindruck machen bemüht zu sein, finden wir es nicht akzeptabel, wenn man als Gast um 8:30 Uhr zum Frühstück kommt und noch der alte, kalte Kaffee vom Vorabend im Pot steht. Auch sonst war noch nichts aufgedeckt. Die gebuchte Morgen Safari war die schlimmste, die wir je erlebt habe. Es war nur eine Hetze durch den Chobe Park, ohne langen Aufenthalt bei Tiersichtungen und ohne jegliche Erklärungen. Wer die Tiere noch nicht kannte, hat auch nicht dazugelernt. Schade, wirklich schade. Mit der tollen Lage direkt am Fluss könnte man echt mehr machen. Und bei dem Preis kann man als Gast auch mehr erwarten.
