Always a lovely stay!

Very functional and adequate

The facilities are excellent and the chalets are very well equip. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. The gardens are well kept and braai facilities clean and nice.

Meget venligt personale og hyggelige omgivelser. Smuk natur og mange fugle. Den lille reception havde et fint lille udvalg af drikkevarer og "mikrobølge" mad, som de kunne varme for os. Der var naturligvis også et godt udvalg af souvenir.

We always stop over here on our way to Victoria Falls. OK, it is off the main drag but it is worth the dirt road for the fine location - a rural retreat. Well run, well furnished and for a travelling couple, just right!

Apart from the dirt road access this is a fine stopover on the way to Victoria Falls. But watch out for the police speed traps - they are a menace and appear to target foreign travellers throughout the Country !! We have stayed here many times and it is ideal when passing through. Well run and managed by Rhodesians !!

This was a last minute replacement for another overnight booking, so we arrived late and left early. The location is out of town, and ten minutes down a bumpy dirt road. The chalet was very pleasant, comfortable beds, mosquito netting, tea and coffee making facilities. The shower and toilet block was only a short walk (take a torch), and had hot running water with good pressure, although there was a request to restrict water useage due to local drought. The staff were friendly and helpful, dealing with our last minute reservation efficiently. The pool looked good, although we didn't try it out as we were too tired after a full day's drive. If I needed to stay in this area again, I'd definitely opt for here.

we rented a riverside cottage...nice setting,good front porch,kitchenette had everything you needed...the pool was clean with nice seating...would stay here again...good value for the $$$$$....

We have previously stayed at Woodlands and enjoyed our recent visit just as much. The lodge and campsites were fully booked during our stay which is testimony to their location and offering. The lodges are comfortably appointed with all necessary self-catering utensils, a fridge and microwave. Braai facilities are available and meat and ready-made meals can be purchased from the shop. There is a good-sized pool and a pleasant nature walk on the property. Highly recommended.
