We absolutely loved our stay! So peaceful.

Nice place, pritty garden, frendly stuff and owner, clean room, small but nice, good bed, quiet, very good breakfast and tea time with delikate cake. The owner is now a frindly and piano playing brasilien and his daughter. They helped me so lovely with a spider bite. Thank you!!!!

The property is a cozy oasis. Felt right at home.

Wonderful property - we loved the owner, he is very kind and welcoming and all the staff are so helpful. The area is very convenient and off the main street so it's very peaceful. We loved the helpful info booklet in the room and great breakfast too!

Excellente expérience chez Rennie. L’hôtel est propre, la literie est bonne et il est très bien localisé (au calme tout en étant proche des commodites et activités). Rennie est très très gentille et de très bon conseil pour passer un excellent moment sur Ilha Grande. Les petits déjeuner et le tea time quotidien sont fabuleux avec des pâtisseries faites maison et que des bonnes choses.

In November 2023 my wife Samantha and I embarked on a 4 month tour of South America travelling through 5 different countries. We stayed in dozens of hostels, apartments, condominiums, guesthouses and quite simply the Aratinga Inn was the best place by far. Nothing is too much trouble for the fabulous host Rennie. I could go on and on but I’m just going to finish with this, it is no surprise this beautiful space is rated No.1 on this site, thank you Rennie for a perfect few days on that incredible island

Wunderbare Oase in der Nähe vom kleinen Dorf. Hübsche Holzhäuschen, feines Frühstück, Afternoon Tea mit täglich frisch gebackenen Kuchen. Für Strand werden Badetücher, Pareos, Strand- und Wasser Spielzeug zur Verfügung gestellt. Beim Frühstück können Vögel u.U. Kolibris beobachtet werden.

Lovely inn only 7 minutes walk from the port. Hidden away in the rainforest, the rooms are idyllic and the host, Rennie, is amazing - provides you with so much information about what to do, where to go and so much more. They also have a delicious breakfast and afternoon tea everyday and can do your washing. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you :)

Renee was so welcoming, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She helped us “get on island time” as soon as we arrived and paid attention to all the small details to help make our stay even more fun. Sarongs and hats to afternoon tea and guidance where to explore and best hidden gems, thanks to her our island stay was magical! מומלץ ביותר!
