Stayed for a night to get a different experience of Rio. The villa is immaculate and rooms comfortable. Views of the city below are amazing. The staff are prompt and helpful. Booked a spa treatment which was followed by use of the glass steam room also overlooking the city below. This villa is a converted house which is owned by a family with roots in Santa Teresa. The family was on site the day we stayed and were super friendly when they approached us.

Tranquility personified - my wife and I said the same thing about this place - it felt like the perfect setting for a romantic movie. my wife really liked the remote location, it is super private and secure... that part was a little annoying, it might be too secure. I had a hard time getting Ubers but like I said my wife loved that. 5 star staff members - absolute class. we got back 2 weeks ago and we are already planning to go back in 6 months.

ห้องน้ำเหม็นมาก bad bathtub but bean staff is very nice another is not nice enough not worthy to stay The price is high and not worth the stay. The service is not worth the price. Some reception staffs provided poor service .

loved the vila experience!

This property is unreal. Brings the old world with the new one. Grounds are unbelievable and the views even more so. The staff is so friendly, accommodating and genuine. The front desk, waiters , ground staff are all superbly trained. Our first time in Brasil and will definitely e back within the year. Thanks to all of the staff and the family that owns this paradise for sharing this with us .

the view of Rio from our room was the best there is

This property is the definition of luxury and boutique, with outstanding service. Whilst away from the hustle and bustle that Rio has to offer (and a bit challenging to get back to at night times), anyone looking for a memorable stay should earmark this place. A true gem!

Gorgeous, relaxing, amazing service!

The views from our suite were unforgettable!! It was a paradise in all aspects of the word. And the staff would do anything for you to make your stay perfect. Yasmin was just the perfect person for the job, and she made our stay a dream come true! We had the time of our lives and Yasmin was a big part of that. Vila Santa Theresa is an even better hotel thanks to her. Our trip was truly memorable!

This was not a hotel, this was a home This was luxury living at its best. I felt like I was living in a celebrity world of exclusivity and comfort. There are only 7 guest suites so was very private. The staff was excellent, the rooms extremely comfortable, the food delicious, and the views unexplainable. It was very difficult to leave this paradise. I have only a few comments. The pool was nice, but would be nice if it was skimmed with a net each morning to catch the few bugs and leaves. (by the way there were not many bugs here or really anywhere in Rio). Also it is a bit difficuly for cab and uber drivers to find. One we knew how to get there it was not a problem and they called taxis for us for pick up. IT wqas worth it though as this was the most spectacular place I have ever stayed.

Booked a suite for my 40th. I arrive around 10am, check-in is at 3pm so the staff said have breakfast and hangout until the room is ready. Im eating breakfast and a female guest starts yelling and throwing her hands up. Said that I shouldn't be here. The staff removed my plate, asked if I could leave, picked up my bag and escorted me out. He requested I not come back until 3pm. Not a pleasant welcome. . .other than that, room was clean, food was delicious, staff was nice. I wanted to book a helicopter but they said I had to have other people with me. Im a solo traveler.
