I recently stayed at Villa Rica Pousada Boutique in Brumadinho, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and genuine care, making us feel like family. The pousada itself is stunning, blending rustic charm with modern amenities in a way that feels both luxurious and inviting. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed with a cozy, rustic touch that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. Each morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast featuring fresh local ingredients—delicious pão de queijo, tropical fruits, and expertly brewed coffee were just a few of the highlights. The location couldn’t be better for anyone visiting Brumadinho. It’s close to the Inhotim Museum, yet tucked away in a serene setting surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. During our week stay we visited near by historical towns, Ouro Preto and Mariana. The property also offers plenty of areas to relax, from hammocks under the trees to a peaceful heated swimming pool/jacuzzi. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and ensuring every detail was just right. Villa Rica Pousada is the perfect escape for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Minas Gerais with unmatched comfort and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Atendimento excelente, funcionários atenciosos, profissionais e cordiais. Aproveito para elogiar as 2 Anas que trabalham no local e todos outros que nos atenderam. Café da manhã e lanche servidos estavam maravilhosos. Tudo gostoso, fresquinho e bem feito, com técnica. Piscina aquecida muito boa, tipo ofurô. Muito verde em volta da pousada e decoração agradável. Variedade de assentos confortáveis por toda a pousada. Sobre o quarto, ficamos na suíte 2. Achei o quarto bem apertado e o banheiro também. Entretanto, como ficamos para conhecer Inhotim e passávamos o dia fora, não foi algo que incomodou tanto. Digo porque, para quem deseja apenas descansar e usufruir das belezas naturais ali, melhor pegar um quarto maior.

Absolutely wonderful find. After our first night here we decided to cancel our plans extend our stay here. The property is so peaceful and quiet. We rented the two bedroom chalet and it was a perfect size for the three of us. I cannot stress enough just how attentive and wonderful the staff is here. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and we ended up dining in all three nights here because the food is outstanding and the atmosphere here is unique and cozy. A special thank you to Pietri, Ana Paula and Edna. We will return for sure.

Achei bacana a experiência, a região é bem tranquila e sossegada. Acredito que alguns pontos deveriam ser revistos: ar condicionado, tamanho da cama, cardápio de almoço, jantar(colocar um menu do dia,por exemplo) e tamanho do spa. Pois se todos os hóspedes resolverem ir ao mesmo tempo..ficaria super lotado.. Pequenas coisas como colocar música ambiente durante o café da manhã e no deck seriam providenciais. Atividades para criança: cama elástica ou pequeno playground.. E divulgar prontamente aos hóspedes..as atividades de entretenimento da região e empresas que as fornecem.

Pousada excepcional, a começar com a simpatia do proprietário Giovanni e a presteza e eficiência de sua pequena equipe.Espaço confortável e tranquilo a cerca de 40 km de Belo Horizonte, em Brumadinho e permite fácil acesso ao Instituto Inhotim. A pousada tem ares de galeria de arte, onde estão expostos com muito bom gosto, obras de artistas mineiros. Quarto amplo com todas as comodidades. Excelente café da manhã. Recomendo.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Rica following a visit to the Inhotim art center and botanical garden. The hosts and staff were welcoming and helpful. The inn is set is a beautifully landscaped lush garden. Breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful treat. We could have sat there happily all day.

Hands down one of the most magical places I've visited in Brazil. The hosts are attentive and take pride in the space. I loved the chalet. Every meal was delicious and the art and artisanal pieces are great. It is within driving distance to Inhotim. It can get a bit cold in the winter at night; bring a sweater and pants. I look forward to visiting again soon!!! Um dos lugares mais mágicos que visitei no Brasil. Os proprietários são atenciosos e se orgulham do espaço. Eu amei o chalé. Cada refeição foi deliciosa e as peças de arte e artesanal são excelentes. Está a uma curta distância de carro de Inhotim. Pode ficar um pouco frio no inverno à noite; Traga uma camisola e calças. Estou ansioso para visitar novamente em breve!

Achei bacana a experiência, a região é bem tranquila e sossegada. Acredito que alguns pontos deveriam ser revistos: ar condicionado, tamanho da cama, cardápio de almoço, jantar(colocar um menu do dia,por exemplo) e tamanho do spa. Pois se todos os hóspedes resolverem ir ao mesmo tempo..ficaria super lotado.. Pequenas coisas como colocar música ambiente durante o café da manhã e no deck seriam providenciais. Atividades para criança: cama elástica ou pequeno playground.. E divulgar prontamente aos hóspedes..as atividades de entretenimento da região e empresas que as fornecem.

Pousada excepcional, a começar com a simpatia do proprietário Giovanni e a presteza e eficiência de sua pequena equipe.Espaço confortável e tranquilo a cerca de 40 km de Belo Horizonte, em Brumadinho e permite fácil acesso ao Instituto Inhotim. A pousada tem ares de galeria de arte, onde estão expostos com muito bom gosto, obras de artistas mineiros. Quarto amplo com todas as comodidades. Excelente café da manhã. Recomendo.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Rica following a visit to the Inhotim art center and botanical garden. The hosts and staff were welcoming and helpful. The inn is set is a beautifully landscaped lush garden. Breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful treat. We could have sat there happily all day.

Hands down one of the most magical places I've visited in Brazil. The hosts are attentive and take pride in the space. I loved the chalet. Every meal was delicious and the art and artisanal pieces are great. It is within driving distance to Inhotim. It can get a bit cold in the winter at night; bring a sweater and pants. I look forward to visiting again soon!!! Um dos lugares mais mágicos que visitei no Brasil. Os proprietários são atenciosos e se orgulham do espaço. Eu amei o chalé. Cada refeição foi deliciosa e as peças de arte e artesanal são excelentes. Está a uma curta distância de carro de Inhotim. Pode ficar um pouco frio no inverno à noite; Traga uma camisola e calças. Estou ansioso para visitar novamente em breve!
