Simple rooms, hot shower, very friendly staff. Restaurant is conveniently close.

basic motel in a small town. good value for the money. Bed and linins were quite good. Fridge was large and new. Surprisingly good view out the back window. I didn't use the restaurant but my co-workers liked it. Sound transmission between rooms was bad. Fortunately my nieghbour was quiet and didn't snore - you can hear EVERYTHING. You have to spend a few bucks and sound proof the dividing walls. Also the water is dirty , the colour of tea and leaves a residue in the tub. You have to spend some $ on a filter. Fix these 2 glaring problems if you want to succeed.

Very decent place for the money. Where can you stop for $100?

Bathroom was the best part of the room as it looked recently renovated. No fan in the bathroom and bathroom window casements were dirty with spiders and webs. 2/3 electrical outlets in the main bedroom area did not work. The bedding was tattered with rips. Sheets were clean.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room was clean with air conditioning.

One of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. No coffee machine in the room. Almost no water pressure in the shower. Not a great value for the cost.

Is this the most modern place you'll stay? Nope. Are the walls paper thin? Yep. But the beds are comfortable enough and the rooms are very clean. Joy, the owner, is wonderdul to deal with as well.

The property was well maintained, very clean and breakfast was very good. Exceeded our expectations for the night. Owners were very welcoming as well.

Friendly staff

The room was reasonably clean. But beds were awful. The mattresses (if you want to call them) were hard - like sleeping on plywood. One plastic glass in the room; and shortage of towels and 1 facecloth and mgmt was not happy to give us more. The breakfast was good and very reasonably priced.

Clean room and friendly service. The Apsley Inn breakfast special is copious an a good value.

Did not stay at this property because I received a Email stating that they would not be able to have guests on our date of booking due to toilet issues so booked another motel.

Property is nicely renovated but bedsheets had staines and we had to request the new ones. Also you need to bring your own soap, shampoo etc, Wifi didn’t work at all. There is no any container for garbage. No cups, no kettle .But there is a mini fridge and microwave. Overall it is ok for one night stay.

What a pleasant surprise this was! It has everything to expect in a typical roadside motel but the bathroom has a nice large soaker tub. Everything very clean, the AC works and the restaurant was charming with excellent homemade dishes. There is a lazy river floating by the trimmed backyard grounds.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant serves a good breakfast at an affordable price. The property is clean and well maintained, although the running water has a slight iron smell. It’s conveniently located near lakes, making it ideal for visitors who enjoy canoeing.

Good person

Just a quick overnight stay. Great little spot. Always fun to wake up and hear the lion’s call. Great folks.
