The view of the Bay from the deck. The hosting was smooth and comfortable. The room was large, and the common room was very effective and large as well.

Kathy and Mike were so helpful as we had a small trailer and weren’t sure where to park. Kathy met us on the road so we could scope out the parking area and had even moved their own car to give us space. Above and beyond what we could’ve expected to make for a wonderful and easy stay.

The inn is a gem, and the loccation is sublime. We were so happy with our stay, that we booked a room for the return leg of this visit to southern BC.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the wilderness of Vancouver Island. The room was very spacious and clean. The lake view outside the picture window was grand. The hotel is situated right on the Galloping Goose trail. We wish we had made time to hike the trail, but our schedule was full due to an unexpected event. Perhaps next time.

A very quiet B&B with tremendous views of the Bay and very tasty breakfast.

Arbutus Cove is a beautiful B&B nestled right off the historic Galloping Goose Trail, surrounded by beautiful forests and the Sooke Basin. You get to experience the natural beauty of the ocean and fresh waters merging together, where the wildlife peeks out. River otters, seals, crabs, salmon galore! Watch them swim from one side of the bay to the next from the decks, or the hot tub. Kathy and Mike are gracious hosts who will make sure your stay will be one to remember. Kathy makes great breakfasts that start your day off perfectly. She makes a well balanced meal, which is the perfect way to start off your daily adventures. There is lots to explore here, the people on the trails are kind, and the food around the town is very good. Lots of pubs and cider houses with great menues. And lets not forget that the night skies which are absolutely stunning from there. During a new moon you will see shooting stars, Starlink satellites, and the cosmic dust of the Milky Way. If you love astronomy this is a place to see it all. Thank you Kathy, Mike, and staff for making our stay one to remember. We came home fully refreshed and relaxed. We will be going back, for sure!

We had a wonderful stay in our gorgeous room overlooking the ocean. The entire guesthouse is immaculate and very well appointed. We were even treated to a hearty and delicious breakfast! Kathy was very friendly and most gracious host who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

The property is very peaceful and right on the water, a lovely setting. Comfortable beds, fresh ample breakfast, and perfect host.

The property is beautiful. Very clean & well-maintained. The view is stunning. The location is right on the oceanfront with a little beach down below. You are also directly on the Galloping Goose trail, which is great for bike-riding. The owners & their 2 dogs are very friendly. The breakfast was filling & delicious! Thanks for a great stay!
