Terrible communication. Only able to check in between 4-5pm. Got there no phone number. Room smells like curry, relatively clean but the stench was horrible. Pictures of the room are deceiving. Not at all the room as shown in booked pictures. Very disappointed. Great view but be prepared for poor service. When you go check in and your told it’s your fault that you didn’t call ahead to say you were arriving at 8pm. I don’t know where in the world 8pm is considered a late arrival.

Clean room , friendly staff. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Morning Mountain View was fantastic. We could use the microwave for dinner and breakfast to heat up our food. Convenient store has variety of food and snacks even Alcohol. Great place to rest and enjoy night after skookumchuck narrows trailhead. Want to come back again.

Beautiful view, room was okay, not much in the area

We come back because we love the location looking over the marina. Very clean. Kitchenette is fantastic. Cozy too.

Room and staff were great. No coffee houses, cafes or restaurants this time of year (January).

Booked a room at the Bathgate motel during Xmas time. The town of Egmont was super quiet (we barely saw people outside). The room has a beautiful ocean marina and ocean view. It also has a balcony where you can enjoy a coffee or a meal.

Mark was fantastic at helping us reschedule our booking and was super at helping us feel welcome at this place. The convenience sore with food and booze options is a super bonus and the water views are breathtaking!

Nice place with a harbor view. Has all amenities needed. We have stayed here two years in a row and it has been great.

Beautiful room with a view. Comfy bed and every you need for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked kitchenette! Check in was easy and the staff member at check in was lovely. Thank you Bathgate for an amazing experience!

Great view.

We booked the two bedroom suite for ourselves et one of our daughter. One of our other daughter was getting married. Our greetings when we arrive were warm, friendly et knowledgeable of the area. Our room was clean et extremely well suited to six persons even though there were only three of us. A wonderful experience et absolutely well worth the visite!

Absolutely delightful! Lovely room with balcony overlooking the creek and small marina. No food option but store adjacent and large microwave and fridge/freezer in room. Famous easy hike to Skookumchuck Narrows close by.

Gorgeous view from balcony, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. New looking windows enhanced view from inside. No AC though so beware of summer heat- that said, it is the Pacific Northwest so it does cool down at night! Easy walk to Skookumchuck bakery, and Rapids Trail

We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are many jogging trails around there, pay more attention the coffee shop closed at 3pm, restaurants are closed 4-6 pm. As there are not many food options there, if you are like us with normal stay ( no certain purpose- hiking, sailing, kayaking etc) it’s not really right place to stay. And room rate is not reasonable at Cad217/ night (smaller & economical room) and 1.5 hours to Langdale ferry terminal.

Beautiful view, comfortable and clean accommodations

Enjoyed the amazing marina view from the balcony and peaceful environment around. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
