This hotel is the worst from my experience. They were charged directly for the hotel, not from Hotel's.com. Therefore, Hotel's.com reward program was not applied. Never stay again.

ホテルの近所の人に助けを借りなければ宿泊できなかったでしょう。電話にも出ず、大変困りました。 また、宿泊料が1万円は高すぎる。

Les lits sont horribles avec des draps tachés et inconfortables, la tête du lit en tissus était noircie par la saleté accumulée. Des fourmis se promenaient sur le comptoir et une coquerelle m’attendais devant la porte de l’immeuble. Des trapes à souris d’se trouvais sur le comptoir du premier étage ce qui donne mauvais présage d’autre petites bêtes présentes sur les lieux. Les images des chambres ne sont en rien similaire à ce qu’on retrouve sur place. Ameublement désuet et endroit plus que négligé. Pas de serviette à main dans la salle de bain. Aucune sortie de secours pour la chambre du dernier étage l’accès à la porte de sortie est bloqué et barré a clef donc en plus pas sécuritaire. Je n’y retournerais pour rien au monde.

The owners and nice, great persons. Generous, they helped me a lot. Offered me an additional night under certain needs, mailed me belongings I've forgotten here. Allen is very sweet.

When I think of hotel "star" rating, I think of it reflecting the relative cost-to-quality metric you expect. Five star hotels being the sort where the hotel itself is a destination of itself and worth the supreme cost, four-star is added luxuries that aren't necessary (like spa and pool amenities, etc) but can be nice for the added cost. Three star is the baseline sort of Quality Inn or Comfort Inn style; clean, secure, private, only a few frills. In that regard, Taigh Ice fits to me as a two-star experience, which is also exactly what I wanted. More akin to a hostel or motel, where the price is cheaper than other choices locally, but with less luxuries. And so I'm content in my stay. Pros: - Big, private room - Full shared kitchen for use (bring your own utensils to cook with, though) - Great location - Very well air conditioned in the heat - Other guests were quiet. I slept well! - Friendly staff Cons: - Bathroom was untidy / borderline gross. Big cobwebs, hair wad in shower drain, etc. - No hand towel in bathroom. Floor was often wet. Notes: - You will be asked to throw out toilet paper in a garbage can instead of flushing it; this is very common in parts of Asia, but not in North America. I was familiar with the practice, but my guest found it very gross. - I had some uncertainty of where to park, and so asked the staff. It never turned into a problem for us, but they were somewhat slow to respond, so I can imagine might be stressful if there was an emergency.

This place is a mess wirh lots of yelling and screaming.

Could not use the bathroom in my room, no water running.

The property/rowhouse is located in a neighborhood that has high drug activity. There was no instructions about how to check in ie: no lockbox code given prior to arrival. I was lucky someone was nearby that let us in. Upon arrival the person didn’t know which room I booked. Smells horrible and looks like a rooming house. I would never stay there alone

Das war die schlimmste Absteige, die ich jemals hatte. wir sind für die zweite Nacht in ein anderes Hotel umgezogen. Es war die ganze Nacht laut, Lichtschalter war Defekt, Toilettenspülung durfte nicht normal benutzt werden. Das ganze Haus hat gerochen.

The staff and family who live at the premises were very lovely and accommodating . But it was a bit further from the city centre then we thought.

Upgraded me to a great room with huge bathroom. Very nice owner.

Felt safe

Beds were comfy, room was spacious and relatively clean. I was worried after reading some reviews but it was not bad. I would stay here again, as the price was good. The water pressure was fine, but both of the sinks were a bit clogged and I had to unclog them myself.

Everything about it was a dump (area, walls, carpet, floor, gross bathroom, no exhaust fan, the smell) pictures are false advertising. I was expecting a charming place with a microwave at the very least. No microwave to heat the premade breakfast I had made and dirty beyond belief. I have video and pictures to prove it. False advertising

Lock on door was sketchy. Not enough towels. Not properly cleaned.
