My only gripe and it's a petty one at that. Is that if you order food from an outside source you have to leave the room to meet them in the lobby because they can't get up to the floor without a card. Security is premium, yet this one thing is a peeve a very very mild peeve. Everything else is amazing. The fig restaurant attached is however not worth the money or time. Go to the put next door, way better food and service.

The property was well kept and very clean. We recently stayed for 2 nights and one of the things that attracted me was the hot tub. The hot tub was closed when we got there and I inquired if it would be open the following day, the front desk advised that it has been closed for a year. I also inquired about directions to get to a particular mall. She gave me vague directions and said I may have to walk alot once off the train. I was not provided any written directions on trains to use or which way to walk once off the train.

I needed an early check in as I had a series of zoom meetings I needed to run. Was told I could pay an early check in fee but that they couldn’t guarantee it as there were no rooms available the previous night. A quick search determined that was inaccurate. Two different options of 30 dollar fee or 100 dollar fee were offered but without guarantee. Eventually sucked it up a paid for a night I didn’t need just to make sure I could check in at 9:30 the following morning. The wifi in room was terrible, I ended up hot spotting off my cell most of the time. Room itself was nice but housekeeping times each day were fairly inconsistent which made planning difficult. Ended up only having them makeup the room once, warranted I was in the room a lot the one day that they were unable to do it. Parking was easy in the underground parkade and the location makes for easy travel to several parts of Vancouver. That being said I doubt I will return as the whole ordeal with early check in was a little ridiculous.

Clean, bright room and sunset view. Property is dated with an aesthetic I can’t quite name - 90’s nightclub chic? Hotel was full of youth sports teams which was quite delightful until it wasn’t. I would never recommend any adult stay here for a restful or respectful stay. Hallways jammed with kids playing tag, the nice outdoor pool (hot tub out of order) was a complete gong show - and this is coming from a parent with young kids.
