Chambre insalubre

Communication was excellent and welcoming. Appreciated the late check in and ease of entering late at night. We loved the upstairs and it was very clean. The building has its character but a hostel is like a friend’s house. It isn’t a hotel but instead like crashing at a friends house so don’t expect fancy stuff. Kitchen was good enough for our needs which wasn’t heavy cooking just simple breakfast stuff. Other people seemed to be making dinners so definitely works for that too. Very quiet place too and neighborhood as well. Felt safe inside and out. Beds were comfy and air conditioning worked. Tvs didn’t in all rooms but one did and we didn’t watch much anyway. If accustomed to hostel stays this won’t disappoint.

The service was really good, the guy was super sweet and everything was clear. There’s no mirror or sink in the room so it’s alittle bit inconvenient but I would say the overall was great

Just an absolutely terrible experience. Arrived to find the room covered in bugs and unclean. While the bugs were not bed bugs (they appear to be wharf borer beetles), they were everywhere. I found them on the bedding and all over the floor. They appeared to be in various states of death/dying like they had recently been sprayed, so why they had not been swept up is beyond me. Through getting Expedia involved I was able to get a refund, but I still had to find other accommodation last minute. It also seems suspicious that a review appears saying the bugs had been cleaned up after someone else left a negative review about the bugs. When I entered my room the bugs had not been cleaned up, and it looked like the floor under the bed hadn’t been swept in a long long time.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Check the pictures and you will know why! We needed to run away after 10 minutes of staying in the room and book last minute another place. I’ve never seen so many bugs coming out from the bed and from the walls. Refund? Not possible and now I know why. REMEMBER BATHROOM IS SHARED. This place has no rights to call itself “Hostel” neither “Hotel”. It’s an INSULT to these two words! I don’t really know how to start describing the place, the pictures online are old and when it was clean only for taking them. If you want to save your health and don’t be sick, DON’T GO! Save your money for better hostels. Initially we booked a “suite” and when we arrived we got a single room. The rooms are much smaller than as shown on the pictures.

There were bugs EVERYWHERE! A hole in the floor of the basement bathroom had them flooding in. We weren’t sent an email with any door info. Left the whole building unlocked twice because we didn’t realize (or were told) you had to press the code again with the lock button. Was terrified I was scammed when trying to get in. No one was at the office desk (which it said there would be) and I couldn’t get a call to the property. This place was a nightmare

Pésimo hotel, las fotos publicadas no corresponden al lugar real, muy muy sucio, había cucarachas por todas partes, el baño asqueroso, el colchón parece que lo sacaron de un bote de basura, no volvería nunca.

Overall is nice to stay. Feel cozy and a living area you can set on. I just wish my bed sheets can be cleaned. My bed only had the top sheet not the cover sheet for bed. And the sheet feel not been washed

The bed was broken and the room was not very clean. No double sheet in the bed. I would not recommend unless on a tight budget. At least, there was no sign of bug infestation or bad odor. The door is a padlock so we did not feel safe and put a chair in front of the door. With the broken bed we sleept very badly.

Endroit qui manque un peu d’amour. Propreté à questionner. Le personnel est courtois et responsable.
