The room was large and spacious! The restaurant would benefit from having at least one vegetarian option for dinner. The bed was comfortable, but the walls are thin. We had a very loud group of ladies across the hall.

Overall, it was an okay stay. The grounds are beautiful, and it's easy to see why they host so many weddings. The room was clean and smelled nice, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good. That said, the rooms are quite small, the bathroom fan is loud, and the shower water pressure is weak. The hallways have an old-house smell. The hotel also has a lot of artificial plants, and many of them were dusty. Real plants would make the place feel much nicer. The staff were okay. I asked to borrow a vase for flowers, and they reminded me several times to return it. I had no problem bringing it back, but repeating it over and over felt a bit strange. There were flies in the lobby, and I was told I couldn't prepay for breakfast at check-in—I had to order and pay from the menu each morning. Overall, it's a nice place for a short stay, but there are a few details that could definitely be improved.

I hope this was a one off, but when we arrived, they had given away my room. It looked like I had checked in but when they looked under my reservation, it was a completely different person's identification they had under my reservation number. I ended up with a lesser room after about 1/2 hour of waiting. I had paid for king suite and received a double queen (non suite). We did get a free breakfast for myself and the other couple that were staying at the Inn with us. I would have hoped that the manager the next morning on hearing of this problem, might have reached out to us and offered something more than breakfast. The place was lovely and in the end I did sleep comfortably, but a bit of an ordeal.

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber schön. Das erste Zimmer, das wir bezogen haben, war direkt über der Küche. Hier haben wir es keine 5 Minuten ausgehalten, da die Lüftungsgeräusche so unangenehm waren. Also baten wir um ein neues Zimmer, das wir auch bekamen. Das zweite Zimmer hatte allerdings ein Queensize Bett und kein Bett, so wie wir es gebucht hatten. Hätte man uns gesagt, dass das Hotel ausgebucht ist und wir eine dementsprechende Erstattung bekommen, hätten wir nichts gesagt. Aber einfach ohne Rücksprache die Zimmerkategorie zu verschlechtern hat uns nicht gefallen also sind wir erneut zur Rezeption gegangen und baten um ein Kingsize Zimmer. Dieses haben wir dann im Nebengebäude bekommen. Ich denke, dass das Zimmer in einer etwas bessere Kategorie als die, die wir gebucht haben, denn das Zimmer war größer als die vorherigen Zimmer. Der Start war also nicht optimal, aber am Ende haben wir eine Lösung gefunden und das Zimmer war schön, das Bett war bequem und die Parkplätze am Hotel waren ausreichend vorhanden. Das Badezimmer war ausreichend und das kostenfreie Frühstück gut. Wir wurden auf unserer Kanada Rundreise schon freundlicher begrüßt und herzlicher behandelt, aber am Ende hat das Hotel einen akzeptablen Gesamteindruck hinterlassen.

Charming historic property, warm and elegant atmosphere, gracious hospitality to host your event! Everyone complimented the delicious food and ambiance. The staff was exceptionally supportive in organizing our Celebration of Life event. The accommodations and breakfast on site made it so convenient!

Some people complained the rooms were very nice but very small and no elevator so for seniors and people with mobility issues there arent many accessible rooms on the main floor.They did give us an accessible room close to Lobby which was huge and lovely.We attended a wedding and the meal was excellent.

The room and the Inn itself were very clean. It is an older Inn, but well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We attended a wedding here and everything went very smoothly. The food portions were very large and tasty. The drinks and canapes were yummy. One drawback was no elevator, as many in our group were older and/or had back and leg issues.
