Not sure what I expected for this one-night stay, but it was barely adequate for the purpose. Overhyped as "luxurious and modern," my room was shabby and draughty. Cold air coming from the windows fought with warm air from the radiator, and won. When I returned after the reception desk had closed, my door code didn't work and I had to call someone who was able to open the door remotely. I left before breakfast.

The room was small. The bed was lower at the head than at the foot of the bed. The window in the room let in a lot of cool air, didn't fit properly. Breakfast was good, they used to serve a nice hot breakfast which was included in the price. ,, I miss that but the continental breakfast was sufficient. The staff were very friendly.

Suggest better variety of food at breakfast; very disappointed no maid service on weekend; properly could do with a refresh in decorating. On other hand, very convenient location, convenient parking on site, lovely old building.

Charming cosy building in lovely Kingston known for its history and cultural heritage. We were well received and the receptionist was very friendly. Good atmosphere in the living room. Only disadvantage was poorly sound insulated bedrooms. Will recommend this inn to everybody.
