Everything was great!

Room was booked by our cousins for the stay on our trip from BC. Everything was good.

The previous reviews & price convinced me to book here. Previous reviews were correct, friendly people, comfortable beds, clean and very dated. The room smelled of air freshener & was actually a sickening smell. No coffee maker but could go get coffee at the office - not very convenient. For people with mobility concerns, toilet is very low & bathtub is very slippery. No tub mat or grab bars. We did appreciate having the refrigerator & microwave.

Clean room

I loved that it was within walking distance of the Saugeen river. We went for a swim there and had an absolute blast. Great motel, with excellent service.

Nice place to stay

We showed up late at night and the owner was very welcoming and helpful with check in. I felt bad waking her but she was so delightful. The area was so quiet and peaceful.

l love that they have barbeque's and picnic tables to use. Very clean and quiet place to stay.

This family run motel is perfect for an in between stop. It is a bit vintage but very clean and convient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our family decided to go on a long weekend adventure and came across this motel online. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely stay again when in the area. The room was clean, quiet and nice. The staff are super friendly, professional and the area is beautiful.

When you think of Motel's the expectations are usually low. I highly reccomend staying at the Lighthouse Motel, upon check-in greated with a smile and ease, walking into our room a pleasant smell of cleanliness made us feel welcome and made our one night stay enjoyable after a long drive. If I'm ever in Walkerton area again, I will stay at the Lighthouse Motel. *****

Third time we stayed here always friendly and clean

Decor is a bit dated however the location was convenient and the price was reasonable.

Easy check-in, friendly staff and I had no issues. Very clean, smelled nice in the room.

The Motel was quiet, convenient to find, and clean. The only thing was that there were no safety grab bars in the bathroom which made it a little dangerous. The Television only had 4 channels as well. Thank you

Good location for the event we were to attend Friendly staff

It was an amazing stay for the long weekend. Fishing close by. The owners are super friendly and the rooms are super clean. Our only complaint was the wifi lol it’s terrible. They need a wifi extender. We had rain….so we wanted to watch movies. They kept freezing like no tomorrow. Other than that….we highly recommend it 😃

Everything was as it should be. Very clean and staff was very friendly. Only problem we had was toilet was too low for a senior. So was the chesterfield. Getting up challenging. Biggest issue was the noise from the heater. We did not say anything about it so hotel didn’t get a chance to fix anything
