Well, the location worked great but that was about it. After paying all $ upfront, we were not sent any check information. We finally met the owner who proceeded to ask for cash security deposits and a cash cleaning fee (outside of the VRBO amount we paid already). Then, we spent 4 nights without AC in a Sauna of rental. The good news is that we wont do that again.

The property was spacious enough for our group. When we checked in I was told right away I had to pay $150 cleaning fee right then and there. Only the unit was not clean, dishes were dirty, cupboards had layers of dust and the floors were really dirty. On top of that they wanted $600 deposit in case of damage. We didn’t have heat in two of the rooms and were told a space heater would be dropped off in an hour. It didn’t get dropped off till 1:30 in the morning when everyone was asleep and thought someone was breaking in. We were also told we couldn’t get any make up on there white towels or they would have to throw them away and then charge us for them after. All in all it was a very disappointing experience and certainly not worth the cost. At the very least I would like my money back for the cleaning deposit. Also we didn’t have any dish soap or hand soap in the bathrooms.

Spacious, nice neighbourhood. Old building with mediocre isolation. Walking could be heard in downstairs apartment. Property owner called us before 9AM on Saturday to say we had been walking too loud. Unpleasant for a Saturday morning, especially when we were not partying. A lot of stairs to walk up, not accessible for people with mobility issues. Comfortable beds, clean house. Good for groups.
