Cozy beach front cabins

Beach front, somewhat budget friendly cabins were great for families with children and dogs !

Lots of new upgrade since we were there a few years ago, beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, n very dog friendly

Beautiful location right on the beach live music at Little Ronnie’s barbeque E bike rentals and surf rentals all right their love this little hideaway

We enjoyed our time at McKenzie Beach Resort & thought they did a great job renovating the Airstream that we stayed in! The only thing missing was a table. We had the bench covered with our things which didn't allow for a good space to have a meal. The bathroom was better than expected with a nice shower. Since there wasn't a table inside it would have been nice to have one outside by the firepit that we couldn't use because of a burn ban. 🙁 The beach was fabulous & not far of a walk. The nightly music was great but we would have enjoyed it more without the $5 cover charge. We felt that if we bought dinner that there shouldn't have been a charge. The area by the Airstreams & Suites was very dusty. A little grass would have been nice. The sunsets were amazing!!! 🌅

Right next to the beach is the big draw and the cabins were upgrded and comfortable. Staff is A1. We got locked out when the keys wouldn't work but it was cheerfully fixed by staff, even though it wa after hours.

The resort has done a very good job in re-appointing the cabins - new furniture, lights, mattress, etc. Just beware the 3-legged living room table - very tippy (as shown by 1 broken wine glass - fortunately it was empty...) Good reception area c/w coffee bar, treats and games tables. A good place to sit out the rain to wait if you arrive before your cabin is ready. And only steps to the beach!

Our cabin(3) was beachfront. Awesome ocean view. The beds however were awful no one slept well, and the cleanliness of the cabin left a bit to be desired(don’t look under the bed for that dropped pen, or in the corners) The kitchen was well stocked and the pots and pans were awesome not cheap crap. Bring extra towels, as you are only given 1 set per person for a 4 day stay and when your in and out of the ocean they get yucky quick. Oh and if you want to have a fire in your cabin bring wood, matches and an axe. Overall our stay was ok, but we will probably try somewhere else next time.

Cons: The bed was terrible and mattress should be replaced. The shower was mist, both in the head and the hand shower, so that kinda sucked. Didn't know we couldn't have a little fire directly on the beach, so bylaw officer shut us down. :-( Fires need to be in the iron rims, of which there is only one in front of Mack Beach Resort. Stairs down to the beach area really should be redone (they are uneven in height and a little dangerous for old folks.) Pros: great helpful staff, lovely beach, although not really for surfing. But that meant less people on it, so that was cool.

Poor quality room with dorm like decor. No sign directing us to the resort so we ended up at the campground. Room way too small and pricey compared to the quality of other neighing resorts at similar prices. Half the place was empty so it would be nice to be offered an upgrade even for a small price. Had to check out at 10am and wasn’t even allowed to extend that by a little bit.

Cozy and lovely! Our little cabin had everything we needed. Would come back and stay again in warmer summer months for sure.

Loved the stay in Airstream! So fun and comfortable.

Lovely little beachfront cabin with everything you need for a couple or family get-away. Can watch the sand and surf from the comfort of couch or kitchen table during rest or meals.

Location was nice that you can see the ocean right from the cabin. But, pretty much like the camping site, once you checked in you are on your own. We had complained the noise coming from the neighbour who had a group of people playing loud music, shouting and screaming that we couldn’t sleep even with ear plug. No one had addressed our concern.

We enjoyed the location but studio cabin needs some TLC and new mattresses. The staff were excellent. They addressed any concerns we brought up to them.

Fairly priced for Tofino. Bed was sunken. Towels were new but lint came off them. Friendly service. No welcome package upon arrival with instructions of the property/suite/tourist spots.

Short stretch of gravel road from Hwy 4 leads to resort. Friendly and helpful staff. TV was not working on arrival in room, but was fixed within 20 mins by manager. As there is no AC, it got a little warm so we had to leave a window open while in the room. I would recommend a bug screen there (we did feed a couple of mosquitoes!).

Location was closed to the beach and town but was right on the dirt road so it was not good for my allergies and asthma.

We (2 adults and child 10) stayed in airstream 1001 and it was on a great sized lot. No shade so bring a pop up shelter. If more than 2 people staying in there make sure to bring additional outdoor seating and there was no picnic table on site. The airstream was clean, cozy and had the basics however the Bluetooth speaker was dull so bring your own. Staff was helpful and great. Beach on site was magical. Definitely priced on the higher side but all in all it was a blast!
