The convenience store was inadequately stocked. On the whole though, we had a comfortable stay and will surely recommend to our family and friends.

The men’s shower stall at the Blue Lagoon needed a good drubbing they were gross

Great place to stay and use as a base for hiking in the EC Manning Park area, but be aware of some drawbacks. Rooms were good overall and generally quiet, but in the evening and early morning doors banged and lack of soundproofing on the room doors made this quite disturbing. Bed was comfortable and rooms very clean. Lack of air-con meant that the window needed to be open all the time, but it has fly-screens so no worries about bugs coming in. Stay were friendly and generally helpful, but surprisingly didn't know much about what to do in the area or where best to view animals (beavers for example). Some work was going on to update the property, which should help things. Sadly the bit that you would expect to be great, being that you are 70km from the nearest town, was a real let-down - the restaurant. Food was adequate at best - nothing bad, but nothing to write home about. Choice was limited, and various items were out of stock, including hash-browns at breakfast. Saying that, there were some great beers on tap in the pub. Overall a mixed bag. We probably would stay here again, and hopefully the new owners, with time, can improve on the rough edges.

I enjoyed my stay here.

Our stay at the Manning Park Lodge was very nice and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner on site. The menus were not that extensive but we found what they offered to be more than adequate and the wait staff were very good. We found that mid May was a great time of year to stay there. It wasn’t too hot, not too cold and it wasn’t too busy but just busy enough. We would definitely stay there again.

Friendly helpful staff

We recently stayed at Manning Park Resort and while the location and scenery were beautiful, we were a bit disappointed with the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The washrooms did not appear to be cleaned properly, and the garbage bags had not been emptied when we checked in. The hot water kettle was also extremely dirty, which was unpleasant to see. In addition, the beds seemed worn out and made loud creaking noises throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. There was also quite a bit of noise late at night from nearby rooms or outside, which affected the peaceful experience we were hoping for during our stay. We truly enjoyed the natural beauty of Manning Park and hope the resort can improve its housekeeping, maintenance, and overall guest experience for future visitors.

The room was spacious, but the beds were old and the sheets were threadbare. The location is beautiful though.

Great family stay. There was something to do for all ages. Food at the bar and restaurant was great.

No elevator.

The trail system was good but needed some tlc as windfall of pine beetle damaged trees was considerable.

The resort it self was wonderful and we have a great time as a large group. I would only hope that they would inspect their cookware that they supply as we had very full knives and a pan that the lid would not sit on correctly as the pan was warped.

Room in need of a refresh. Toilet and hot water not reliable. Heated pool lacked heat two options for hot tub, too hot and lukewarm. Pub food adequate but like the pool lacked heat.

The Bar was so cozy and food was good. The deluxe cabin was really comfortable.

Love this location. Cozy mountain retreat. Feels like a real escape.
