Clean Atmosphere. Nice stay

Fine Motel, straight forward, everything works. We asked for a water cooker that was provided right away.

The property is very old with some updates but still smells like a very old place. No operating bathroom fans and very small room. With all that was in the room it was very crowded. We had to plug in the fridge so it took along time to cool down. Knowing the room was booked this should have been thought of prior to us showing up.

The owner/ manager was extremely courteous and very nice. Was concerned in regards to a missing smoke alarm

retrofitted older motel. deadbolt not working. Nick was very nice. Other patrons up at 4 am making lots of noise. Glad to have fridge and microwave. Just used to sleep

Old out dated Cobb webs in the corners ,flys , nats flaying around everything seamed to be clean besides that just not very good with the price in my opinion

The Mindemoya Motel is a reliable place with friendly owners and clean rooms. We’ve stayed several times when visiting family, it’s convenient to all attractions on the island and the owners are lovely.

It was close to Providence bay which I wanted but overpriced for the outdated room I got which was the farthest in the entire motel. I felt like I was hiding out. Pastel colour scheme from the eighties whereas the other rooms had a modern colour scheme. Walls were all marked up everywhere. Room was freezing cold and way too hot at 4:00 in the morning because I couldn't regulated it well because thermostat was from the seventies. He said all the rooms were the same which they weren't. I won't be returning.

The owners seemd a little confused, even though i had already booked agead of time. He said they would give me an a different bigger room because the tv in my original room was not working. He then went into the room he was giving me, exchanged tv's. The room had two beds, but only was made up, the other only had a mattress cover. We were given 1 face cloth, 1 hand towel, 4 shampoos. I think the owners are doing the best they can, but it's not great.

A few upgrades have been done in the room were I stayed in. Nick is very nice and helpful. I would stay there again when I go back to manitoulin island.

Beds were good. Adequate for a room just to sleep in. Poor internet connection.
