The room was clean, and they definitely personalized the amenities in the room based on the nature of our stay.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was absolutely beautiful! Every piece or decor and furniture was thoughtfully chosen and impressive. The record player was a nice touch as well! The staff we interacted with were all pleasant and helpful. We had breakfast at the cafe the next morning which was delicious as well. The only downside was that the toilet smelled awful. I did call down to see if there was a candle or anything and was informed unfortunately not and that the smell was a known issue. It didn’t ruin our visit, but at the price point of the suite it would be nice to not smell sewage.

What an unsuspecting place! Not really anything around it but we were so pleasantly surprised by how nice and quirky this motel was! It’s too bad we were there on days that the restaurant/cafe was closed bc we would have loved to try that! Would definitely recommend

Was all good. Only caveat was feeling a little weird about being the only guests that evening and with no staff around at all, was a little spooky at first being completely alone in the country.

The room decor was so fun! Nostalgic, but modern! Bathroom is new and clean - lovely toiletries provided. It has been so long since I've seen an in-room mini bar and snacks (for a fee) - awesome. Also complementary tea and coffee available. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Chelsea Motel is a quant little gem to spend the night! We stepped back in time to the 60’s when we entered their restaurant/ reception area with their red and turquoise themed booths and tables. The wallpaper is a work of art. The room was so much fun with a lit ceiling that pictured a huge tree. It made us feel like we were sleeping in a tree house. The old phone and working record player sitting on retro furniture was a fabulous touch. The bathroom took us back to the luxury’s of today with a soaker tub, walk in shower, luxury soaps, and soft towels. Breakfast. Don’t forget to stay for breakfast!! You will not leave there hungry. We will return again to be pampered!!

Clean room, special touches (snacks/beverages/toiletries/sleep aids), easy check-in and out. Will definitely go again when the restaurant is open for live music/food!

The motel is eclectic but clean and well cared for. It is in a scenic area of the Gatineau Hills but a few km from restaurants or other amenities. We were there on a night when the on site restaurant was closed.

The staff were patient and helpful. The room was well stocked, the interior design was very cute and well thought out. The Motel itself felt safe. Parking was easy and the location was great if you planned on visiting either Wakefield or Old Chelsea. I definitely would recommend, don’t let the word “Motel” fool you, this property was better than some hotels I’ve stayed at, And all for such a reasonable price.
