The outside of the Motel buildings could do with a more updated look Not so appealing:( No curb appeal The rooms are ok Need some modern furniture etc The top motel was okay, we just needed a place to stay for one night I wouldn't have stayed any longer under the bed

Was a great place, very nice attendant.

The beds were very comfortable- we had a great sleep. Room was very clean and comfortable It should make note on the website about stairs. We were fine and my dog was little but the stairs are metal for snow and a dog can't walk on it

We stayed here as we were passing the area. The room was clean, the bathroom was newly renovated, our unit had a back deck to a grass area. The best part was looking out the front windows and door in the morning to a beautiful view! Would stay again.

Great property, we got free upgrade.

Hotel was okay for price stayed 4 nights, never once had housekeeping the floors got so dirty, went and bought broom to clean and no garbage removal, no clean towels, went and asked for toilet paper at office and had none said will trying to get some in morning so went and bought our own, people next to us up all night yelling and banging around walls are paper thin, had to wash everything in kitchen as it was put away dirty, broken handles on closets and food and stuff under beds when we checked in. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it my friends or family, more so caters to the year round residents then to the ones who book to stay.

Host was nice guy . And room was clean . There’s a coffee maker but no coffee

There are people smoking right outside my room. There’s no locks on the doors and they don’t give you coffee beds are not comfortable. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The smell of deodorizer was super strong. Not sure what it was covering up but it smelled terrible. We had to air out the room for a long time. The door had no deadbolt or other secondary lock - just the electronic door code. For the price it was fair, just wish that smell hadn’t been there.

It was dark when we got there so I can't comment on surroundings. I didn't interact with any staff It wasn't as nice as the cost would have you believe. I imagine people normally don't stay here as just an overnight but there was no other rooms available in the surrounding area

This is a nice place to stay. Not five star. But nice. Comfortable bed. Cozy duvet great pillows. The room is nice comes with a kitchenette nice fridge with a real freezer. I have an issue with the bathroom fan. It’s so loud. And so are the other ones in the other rooms. So loud. Across the street from the ocean. Walked there multiple times to watch the eagles seagulls etc.

This is my second time staying at qualicum bay resort and it’s just as lovely as I remembered. Waterfront views and very nice to have a full kitchen, living room, and your own personal deck with outdoor table. I will definitely be back.

Management was very accommodating and kind.

Qualicum Bay has limited resources but it's close to our friends! The accommodation worked great, however the door code wouldn't be reset and even if it was, the staff knows the code. No one was there for check in and we weren't sent instructions, and when we called the owner in Vancouver the reception is non existent so it was a run around to be able to get in at all.

Quite accommodating, very nice.
