Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Downtown

広くてよい部屋でした

The rooms were good and spacious - a little dated. No slippers or robes provided. towels are not fluffy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the street and the street lights are super bright. Breakfast was adequate and not late enough - weekends till 10am and weekdays till 930am. Should be later. Suite have everything you need. Did not use gym. At least 5 blocks up from the Waterfront area. Lots of restaurants and bars and entertainment around.

Over all it was a clean and spacious 2 bedroom suite. The staff was very helpful. The only issue was the main street in front wasn't as clean, but the hotel can't

It was clean

Hotel was very clean. Rooms very spacious. Easy in and out . Elevators handy. Location is great- only negative waa the noise from the bar across the road which was insane lasting to 3 am in the morning. Breakfast was good.

The room was a little musty, but overall clean.

Full breakfast included was a huge help and the variety of choices was a relief. Staff were very attentive Clean rooms with all we needed

Staff was as accomodating as possible considering our reservation was moved from the Marriott Residence Inn. We were disappointed over the following: Limited Room cleaning, Coffee service and cups were not replaced daily With room cleaning, some surface were not wiped down (desk area) Inability to to take away complimentary breakfast. For very specific personal reasons my husband and I did not want to dine in, all I took was some cut fruit and yogurt and than was confiscated by the staff. VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS Staff was fairly good at accomodating certain requests we had that allows to strictly observe the Jewish Sabbath Most upsetting: I had booked a room at the residence Inn with a Kitchenette. I did this specifically because we strictly observe Jewish Dietary laws (Kosher) and Nova Scotia does not have any suitable restaurant (I would suggest validdating this with Rabbi Feldman of the Chabad of The Martimes). This would allow me to prepare simple hot meals for me and husband. When Marriott changed our reservation, we should have been booked into a room with similar amenities and within a 20 minute walking distance of the synagogue. OR I should have been a full refund. All you offered in the end was $300 credit to a future stay. Noone of this helped me with my current dilemma. I would like an addditional $300 to cover all this conviences related to not having a proper kitchenette

Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and the room was spacious and clean. Good kitchen facilities. Close to all the attractions. The breakfast attendant, Carl was excellent, as were all the desk clerks.. But be aware that on the Sackville Street side, it can be quite noisy at night.

A very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. Only downside was the lack of parking, even just when trying to check in. Great location, close to everything.

Buena ubicacion, pero al estar en calle principal en la noche hay muchisisimo ruido y no tiene ventanas a prueba de ruido por lo que dormir es dificil, no tiene restaurante ni room service

1/why room not cleaned daily 2/no safety box in room 3/room not done by 4pm, until request made after returned from site seeing 4/buffet in morning good
