Service was amazing.

Fridge had ‘knuckle’ marks from someone punching it. Kitchen area was horrible. Booked for 2 queens and got 1 queen and a double. No bathroom fan but it did have a little window to open with no screen that bugs came in. Window air conditioner that someone could have slid open and came in our room. People living in the motel and smoking weed right outside our window. Deadbolt on bedroom door(strange) Woke up to a court baliff and 2 police officers escorting a tenant out with all her belongs while she was screaming profanities. All for 159$ a night?! Should have been 1/2 that price or less

BEWARE We stayed for 3 nights. When we first arrived we had to wait quite awhile to get our key despite being the only ones checking in. Staff is never around and when they are (the one guy that works during the day) they avoid you. They charge a different amount for a damage deposit for each guest. The place was absolutely filthy. My son walked around the unit for 5 minutes and his feet were black. The blankets were stained or dirty. The pool is filthy. They never once brought us fresh towels and we ran out of toilet paper on the second day and couldn’t find anyone to bring us more. When we were checking out the manager was hiding. When you call the number they don’t answer and their mailbox is conveniently full so you can’t leave a message. They have permanent residents living there who sit outside and smoke pot all night among other things. It’s just an absolute joke and I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone. Stay away. Do yourself a favour and pick any one of the nicer places in Vernon to stay. It’s not worth the cheap price.

Very poor, dirty

The deluxe room is very spacious but so run down with a broken closet door, 2 knobs missing, precarious ceiling fan with a bare bulb. The light flicked in and off in the double bed room and some broken blinds. It was so run down but actually completely clean. The pool was dirty and some guests decided to get to the equipment and cleaned it but also put chemicals in and openly said that the test called corn10 and she put 15. The area is very loud. We did enjoy the walk downtown. And it was actually really clean.

First and foremost, the exterior of the property gives a fairly decent impression. However, the issues begin as soon as you step inside the rooms. The air conditioning was not functioning—something absolutely essential given Vernon’s high summer temperatures. The bathroom was dirty, as were the towels, and there were hairs scattered throughout the room. To make matters worse, the window blind was broken, which was particularly inconvenient since the window was the only way for cool air to circulate. On Saturday at 7:00 AM, loud music started blaring from one of the rooms, and the staff did nothing to address the situation. The same thing happened again later that night. However, the most disappointing part of the experience was the attitude of the front desk attendant. He was dismissive and unprofessional when concerns were raised, and seemed visibly annoyed when receiving feedback. Furthermore, he does not allow check-out before 9:00 AM, as he claims it interferes with his sleep schedule. This is particularly problematic for travelers who have an early itinerary or long drive ahead. In short, if you're looking for rest, comfort, and a welcoming environment, I would strongly advise against staying at this property.

This place was not good, in fact it was disgusting and dirty with a side of sketchy as hell! The second I drove into the lot it was apparent that I made a mistake. I stayed, reluctantly, and left as soon as I could in the morning. Just avoid this place, trust me! The people hanging around outside were sketchy, and a lot of them were probably on sketchy drugs. It was horrible! And I'm really not a picky person! The room wasn't very clean, the floor made my sucks black, the shower was crap and the property did not look well maintained. Apparently there's a pool but I walked along the building and couldn't find it, but probably wouldn't go in just by seeing the building and cleaning standards of the owners. Just do yourself a favour and find another option. This place is horrible

The property was rundown, it’s an older property that has been minimally maintained. The manager said he would be back at 9 am for check out and we left at 9:30 and he still had. It showed up. There was a homeless encampment across the street, which made the stay a bit uneasy. The room was clean considering the age of the building. This place could definitely use some upkeep .

Nothing it's a adump

Our bathroom was missing a shower curtain, the coffee maker basket was moldy. I’m pretty sure that they only regularly wash the sheets and the toilet. The walls, bathroom sink, and floor were dirty. The bed was comfortable, though lacking in the usual level of pillows and blankets. It’s sad because this place could be a really good motel with some more daily care and a good scrub. At some point, they were clearly trying to make a nice comfortable place, but the maintenance just isn’t there. I saw a good relationship between some of the patrons and the owners. And one of the guys who worked there, noticed that our keys were still in the door and gave them to us… overall our experience with them was pretty good but the motel just needs a lot more love. It was $100 cheaper than everywhere else within a 50 km radius and I suppose we got what we paid for.

What I liked is that i only had to stay one night

The key wouldn't work in our door and the hours to book out are stupid on a Sunday to get your deposit back as the owner said he wasn't coming in till 930am on the Sunday and we needed to be in Kelowna by 9am. So we had to leave 8am and he wouldn't come in

Things were broken.

Worst place ever, there are saying to take valuables away from your car.Because a homeless can break into your car. There was a portable air conditioning in the room but no hose. Homeless people was all around. Never going to stay here ever again unsafe,dirty,stinky.

Bad bug

I loved the area, it's convenient. The creek is beautiful with the sound through the window. The property has so much potential! The staff was so friendly, especially the young man at the front. It is definitely run down, and could use some updates. But the beds were comfy, it was warm and cozy! It was quiet and I had a great sleep!

Room was terrible, homeless were knocking around

I booked a standard room through Expedia, but despite showing them my confirmation number, they were unable to find my reservation, and had no standard rooms available. I ended up being charged an extra $50 for a "balcony room". Given the error, i should have been given whatever room was available for the price of the standard room. This is a subpar place- not terrible, but not great, which I was expecting. That would have been fine for the original price I paid, but it definitely wasnt worth the extra $50. I'm not sure if the problem was Expedia's or the motel's, but I hope they sort it out so that others aren't put in a similar position.
