I have been trying to get in touch with the manager since August and have had NO RESPONSE. I DID NOT get my deposit returned, even though he told me he would send it back to me.

Beautiful place to be!

The new owners are amazing. They are very kind and helpful. They are doing everything in their power to make it a better place. Huge upgrades! I have stayed here for a week every two months for the last year. Huge difference (in a good way) every visit. Not to mention, a guest next door had a medical emergency and the owner sat with her (and I) for over half an hour waiting for the ambulance. Very calming and caring.

When I checked in, I went to the first room they gave me. The bathroom sink was dirty in the bathroom tub was dirty. The counters were grimy. The bed had smears on the pillows and hair in it. I went back to the front counter and told him I was not going to stay in that room. They gave me a second room, which was only slightly better.

Room dirty, no rod in closet, noisy, had to ask for some towels, pool not heated, hot tub broken. Overall poorly run. The place looked good on the outside, nice hanging baskets but the rooms were poor. Used a key to get into room, no key card or other secure entry method.

Although the room was adequately clean on first inspection. Frig was turned off and smelled, bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain. Screen on bathroom window

We stayed for four nights and were extremely disappointed. There were bugs on the bed, the TV and lamp didn't work, there were no essential kitchen utensils like a cutting board or spatula, and the shower was a weak trickle of water at best. Most unacceptably, despite obviously knowing the length of our stay, there was nobody in the office on the day we checked out. We had to call the staff and even then, sat for nearly two hours, past noon, for someone to finally come into office to return our cash deposit, seriously affecting our subsequent trip. Having lived in Canada for nearly three decades now, this is by far the worst hotel/motel experience I have ever encountered. I will not recommend this place to anybody!

The owners are extremely nice and helpful. I had a minor issue with my remote control and it was quickly and efficiently solved. Very lovely family and many upgrades in the last year.

The property itself is older and starting to show signs of being kinda run down looking. You are also right in the middle of downtown, so not the safest feeling neighborhood. We did not get the chance to check out the pool, but they said they had one. The bed was comfortable and the was plety of space in the room. The air-conditioning worked great. The staff was friendly, but needed to be reminded twice that we asked for extra pillows and towels, took a few hours before we got them. Overall not too bad for the cost.

I do not recommend this place to anyone

Not the greatest when you turn the lights on and the cockroaches are running to hide in the utensil drawer.

Hotel room was filthy. Showed two other rooms and were both just as filthy. Did not try to accommodate at all!

Did not return deposit until after multiple calls

So pet friendly but our room was horrible, I paid for a. Queen bed and we got a double, the fridge kept coming unplugged, air conditioning was in the wrong spot, rust all over the bathroom , hair on the pillows ( not ours) noisy, no cord on the phone tv didn’t work stains everywhere wallls dirty

The man behind the desk was surly and sarcastic We entered the room and were overwhelmed by the smell of mold (and Nil-odor?) The walls were grubby The dressers were missing handles and were stained The bathtub looked dirty, with dead bugs in it. There were no dish cloths or towels

Scary unsafe

The owners don't open up their office til 930 am, we were checking out 2 hours earlier then that, so we called the number as they needed to release our deposit. They refused to come down and do that and said they would do it once they opened the offfice for the day and send us a confirmation receipt via text message and they never did. In the room and outside the room smelled like cigarette smoke and was very dirty. Was very unpleasant and gave me a headache and made me feel very nauseous. The shower had very little water pressure. Was leaking and literally had a bandaid around the leak to "fix it". I felt very gross and dirty after staying there and throat was very sore from the smell. Definitely would not recommend or ever stay here again.
