The heat was not working in this property and it was -5. There was no receptionist or anyone at the front desk when I checked in or out. I had to call to check in. Lack of clean towel. The hand towel in the washroom was found dirty.

Checked in at 5:45pm. No hydro until at least 10pm. The room is freezing. Not their fault but can’t believe I paid to be here tonight.

My overall experience was okay. The room was extremely clean, which was a big plus.. now we were only in the room for a few hours, we got in almost 1 AM and we were not loud by any means, but considering there was a joining room between us. I don't know if our neighbours heard us come in. I can tell you that we definitely heard the ladies next-door from every sneeze to phone beeping, and every conversation had. At first, I thought it was the housekeepers in the hallway. It was impossible to sleep, listening to our neighbours. There is no privacy whatsoever, you hear everything and that is disappointing. We booked this hotel so we could attend our Christmas party and we had a morning to sleep in.. that didn't happen and that was very disappointing considering what we paid.

The rooms were very clean and they don't clean your room unless asked which I liked. The property has just undergone a referbisment and change in ownership. The new owner is very friendly and helps out around the hotel and restaurant which is really nice to see. The AC and heat work well, just took a minute to figure out how to set the controls. For women, the black makeup cloth was fantastic.

The rooms could use some updating but are a good size. Conveniently close to the golf course.

Easy check in. We arrived in the night and left early morning.

At midnight when I went to bed I realized that the door to the adjoining room did not lock. The lock would not turn far enough to actually lock. Too late to change rooms and my daughter was already asleep. Staff had put the mini fridge in front of the door to keep it closed. The people in the next room could have gotten into our room. I didn’t sleep well in this situation.

Beautiful rooms! Quiet and peaceful!

The floor above was so thin we could hear every footfall. It was very distracting. On the other hand the heating was not only excellent but also quiet, really quiet. The staff was very attentive and efficient.

The room was a lovely size, but was rather strange. They were only two chairs for the table, despite having lots of room for a couch. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothing or towels on while you showered. There is hardly any places to put your stuff... We ended up putting the ironing board inside the closet so that we would have somewhere to put our bags without putting them on the floor.

Room had no central light and only one bedside non trilight bulb between the two queens, no Kleenex, no shower cap,no conditioner and most importantly no mat for the inside of the tub which was slippery. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and had a little fridge.
