My stay was like a visit with old friends. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating, and the historic house was intriguing. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was sumptuous. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Spotless, yes, and full of interesting chotchkes. Very charming and helpful hosts in a well-maintained period house.

Staying at The Coach House is an experience you will never duplicate. Hosts Fred and Bert have turned their house into a living museum. Every square inch of walls, floors and tables are covered with art and sculpture (especially of French bulldogs). Fred and Bert make you feel like you are a long lost friend staying at their house. The 3 French bulldogs complete the welcome package.

This place is wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the decor is fantastic. The hosts are lovely. If anything I would suggest the coach house for multiple day stays, or at least for days you can sleep in and enjoy breakfast. It was sad to have to leave early before breakfast for a work engagement.

Very charming old house. Lovely hosts. Amazing breakfast! However the bed was very squeaky. The room was also stuffed full of antiques and trinkets.

A stay to exceed many we have ever experienced. This is not a cheap motel, but a home full of memories and history. Don’t hesitate if you appreciate refinement and exceptional hospitality.

The breakfast was AMAZING. Homemade items, homemade jams and spreads. Would definitely be a draw for us to come back again.

We were greeted upon arrival, welcomed to a lovely room, and given a great dinner suggestion. Our room is lovely and comfy, overlooking the garden, with a very modern bathroom.

Overwhelmed in room with antiques and things! Felt claustrophobic! Breakfast and hosts were amazing! Food was delicious and great assortment!

Nice stay, hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Found a few hairs in the shower, but an awesome breakfast spread like no other more that made up for this!

Wonderful full breakfast at The Coach House - scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast, with options for tea/ coffee, cheeses, jams, and various fruits! As the only guest at the time, I sat in the kitchen with hosts and had a lovely conversation. Note: I rarely rate things as excellent - sorry there wasn’t a Very Good rating. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a really cool, deep bathtub and separate walk-in shower with a handheld showerhead which I always appreciate. Recommendations: If listing does not say so - add that room is upstairs (accessibility). Add another nightlight to the hallway. Reduce the number of nicknacks and collectibles a little bit in the guest bedroom to allow a place to put guests’ items.

Food Was excellent. The hosts were so kind to us during our stay.

The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were very welcoming and personable.

They/ Hotels.com overbooked us! We had to search the area for another room and of course we were forced into overpaying at the last minute, 25 miles further away. The innkeeper did help us find a room, but I didn’t need the stress.

I was assaulted physically by the proprietor who was angry that I arrived at 10:30 US time when it was 11:30 in Canada. He swore at me. Told me to get the luck out and hurt my arm trying to push me down the stairs. The police were called!
