Very nice historical building built in 1880, 5 th generation owner , on a working farm about 4 miles outside of frutalliar, large rooms with small but efficient bathroom

Great to have a very relaxing weekend. The breakfast was delicious everything home made.

Lovely old home just outside of town so it was very quiet and with a great view of Osorno Volcano. Delicious breakfast every day. Comfortable room and bed.

It was a great place to stay not far away from the lake, very friendly and family run business, perfect for children with a small park, friendly doggy and lots of space, a place with History and Character, breakfast was perfect and service great

Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wenn nicht gerade ein hypermodernes Hotel gesucht wird. Das Haus wurde 1881 erbaut und istin der 5. Generation im Besitz der Erbauerfamilie. Vor kurzem wurden einige Teile wieder in den Originalzustand verstzt, knarrende Holztüren inkllusive, aber das macht seinen Charme aus. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und spricht Deutsch.

As much as a living museum as a guest house. Lovingly restored and maintained by its owner this is a highly recommended choice for a stay. Safe and quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Uniqe historical building with a great ambiance. Wonderful breakfast! Staff speaks german. Family friendly but to a point where some guests disrupt the quiet enjoyment of their room during the later evening hours. Great location away from the crowds and access to the lake included next to the camping property. Our shower was a little short for taller people, 190 cm and taller. Would come back and recommend it to a friend.

Loved our time here, very special place in the country. Saw 10 Condors soaring on our evening walk. Host went out of his way to bring us beautiful breakfast to our room early.

La casa de Playa Maqui Lodge es mágica y muy acogedora. Muy bien decorada y con un servicio muy acorde a la situación de seguridad que se requiere.

Lovely (very) old farmhouse but with modern bathrooms and beds! Daniel was a great host, giving us a tour and explaining the long history of the farm. We will stay again!

Fue lindo, la casona de 1880 está totalmente restaurada, el baño es totalmente moderno, tiene artículos de la época, se puede ver y alimentar a los animales. Tiene acceso a la playa de forma privada, ahí podría haber algunas comodidades, unas sillas, por ejemplo.

El Hotel es una casona de las primeras que existieron en Frutillar. El estado de la misma se ha restaurado y el personal se esmera para que el huésped esté a gusto y muy bien atendido. El desayuno es sensacional. con una receta de kuchen alemana exquisita. La experiencia fue muy satisfactoria y super recomendada. Ideal para vivir una aventura diferente.

Don't let the rough road or dilapidated exterior scare you away. The 1880 "casona" of the original German family that settled and established a dairy farm has been nicely redone inside. The rooms are very comfortable if somewhat small, and very quiet between the hours of 10pm-8am. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. You can rent kayaks and mountain bikes for about $20/day and the drive to downtown Frutillar is only 10-15 minutes.

Muy bueno el servocio del hotel, la vista y la tranquilidad del lugar. Para destacar es la atencion que brinda todo el personal y la dedicación, cordialidad y eficiencia de sus dueños, Daniel y su esposa . Muy recomendable!

Necesitábamos desconectarnos de Santiago, del estrés, escogimos bien, el lugar es bello, tranquilo, nunca tuve señal, pero era lo que buscaba, ademas tienen wifi, asi que te puedes conectar igual. Las habitaciones estan muy bien cuidadas, tuvimos un problema el primer día de filtración de agua en el baño y no tardaron en arreglarlo. Daniel, el dueño, es un excelente anfitrión, te hace sentir en casa y la gente que trabaja en el Lodge es muy amable, amamos a Maritza, es muy atenta. Recomiendo ir en auto, uber es un problema ya que en Frutillar hay solo un auto. Definitivamente volveremos pronto.
