Amazing property. Start your morning with a delicious breakfast where eggs are cooked to your liking, fresh artisan bread, veggies, olives and fresh squeezed juice and brewed coffee. The staff is very accommodating, suggests tips and makes your stay a delight with their hospitality. Finish your daily adventure with a warm shower and top notch bedding and pillows. How can I forget...you should really make the effort to wake up to see the sunrise from the sunroom where you will eat your cook to order breakfast.

Honestly from the moment Alex met us in the reception and we got a full tour of the patios, game room and breakfast room to Gabriela's constant smile and patience with us to Johnny's very early farewell breakfast it was a perfect stay at a most charming hotel!

The people were super nice and the the location is excellent. The room was very marginal. If you can, book a room with a view of the harbor.

Would be interesting to have conveniently machines to buy at night and refrigerate at room. I love coffee and they don't have coffee machine at the room and neither at the reception space.😞

In the heart of one of the most picturesque areas of the city this hotel is a perfect base to explore. Easy walking to dinner and shopping. Quiet and the staff is wonderful. Thank you!

We stayed here two nights. We are Americans used to boring, run-of-the-mill hotels with no character and neutral staff who don’t like the guests. This was a lovely break from our norm. Everyone was super friendly, desirous to make our stay happy and give recommendations. The ceilings were super high in our room overlooking the bay, with a chandelier and lovely paint color. It felt like being in an early 1900’s great house. They have a gardener who comes to create gorgeous flowers and trees over 3 different terraces where you can go sit outside to eat or sip wine at sunset. The area in general is like the rest of Valparaiso with some dirt and grunge, but stepping into this hotel was like a most lovely sanctuary. Highly recommend. They lock the gate getting in and out and recognize you by face so there is no fear of random people coming off the street. This may be normal in South America but we noted it as the whole place felt and seemed very secure. They helped us get a taxi for our trip to the vineyards as well, which was nice.

Period property in a good location for exploring Valparaiso. Positives- The place has character, a very comfortable bed and decent breakfast. Negatives- There is a $20 USD charge for parking, which was only disclosed after booking. The hotel said the charge was due to limited parking spaces but there were spaces available on the street. The parking charge should be disclosed before booking, not after. - Hotel should inform guests not to put paper in the toilet as it got blocked! - The shower takes a long time to warm up and the water drains very slowly and also gets blocked. - Could be cleaner too.

Room was rather basic, no elevator but common area ver nice and beautiful garden patio

Great location, amazing views of Valpo bay and cityscape and super friendly and helpful staff. Rosa was spectacular!!
