Beijing Tangfu Nanluoguxiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Boutique Hotel

This was my sixth business trip to Beijing. Every time I stay in a different area and at a different hotel, but this was the most comfortable. There is a long shopping street right in front of the hotel, where you can buy food and unique souvenirs. There is a restaurant and a Starbucks in the same building as the hotel. Also, the World Heritage Site is within walking distance, so I was able to enjoy running while looking at the wonderful scenery. The staff were very kind, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. As other people's reviews have said, you can hear a lot of noise from the rooms next door and upstairs, but if you think of it as part of the fun of the stay, it doesn't bother me that much. I will stay here again when I go to Beijing.

スタッフの人が大変親切。 部屋も綺麗で！クリーニングもしっかりしてくれる。 そして何より無料の洗濯サービスが最高にありがたかった！！ 強いて悪い点をあげるなら、目の前の道路を車が通れないので、雨の日はタクシー乗るにしても傘がいる点と、上の階の水が流れる音や廊下の話し声が結構響く点のみ。 ほかは申し分ないです、また利用したい！！

Staff is very nice and accommodating, specially Judy. She makes sure our stay is enjoyable. She even gave me a gift upon check-out. The location is also good, close to shops and walkable to the nearest subway station. Overall, our stay was excellent.

This hotel is fantastic. The room was comfortable and clean but what truly made our stay great was the service. They attended to everything we needed whether it was laundry service or booking tickets. We loved the location and the eclectic feel of a boutique hotel. We highly recommend it.

Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr komfortable Zimmer und Terrasse mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten und liebevollen Details. Makellos sauber. Infrastruktur nicht zu überbieten. Trotzdem wunderbar ruhig. Das einzige Manko, es gibt auch Raucherzimmer, leider rieht man den Rauch gelegentlich auch in den Nichtraucherzimmern. Ich würde sofort wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The property was exactly like the picture the girls at the front desk were awesome and super helpful they go above and beyond to help you 10/10 would recommend they also do you laundry daily at no extra cost

This property is located right in the middle of some Hutongs. It is surrounded by amazing shopping with tons of local food and shops. It is even close to many historical locations such as the forbidden palace and Tiananmen square. Even though the surrounding area, the rooms are quiet and we didn't hear any noise from the street. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but they are clean. They offer inexpensive laundry services every day, which is hard to find when traveling China. Also, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They were always willing to answer questions and solve problems. One staff member, Lucy, even helped me order a power bank from her personal account and had it delivered right to the hotel within an hour. Amazing! Highly recommend staying here. (Note: When searching for this hotel on a map, it is called the Tangfu Boutique Hotel.)

The staff at this hotel made my stay a delight. They were so friendly and helpful. The whole staff was excellent, but Linda was invaluable with her fluent English and willingness to help with matters beyond the hotel reservation. I appreciate them all so much. The hotel is situated on a bustling and vibrant pedestrian street lined with hundreds of restaurants and shops, yet it remains peaceful and serene inside. The subway is conveniently located, making it easy to access any part of the city. I am grateful to have stayed here, and it is now one of my favorite properties in the world.

The reason why I gave the property and facilities a four star instead of a five star is due to the fact that their 3 person room is tight. It doesn't have much space for all luggages if each person has a full size luggage. I gave the area around the property a 3 star because people were riding bikes and mopeds in the alley making it a nuisance to walk with so many tourists. Regardless of these not so positive comments, I would definitely go back to stay here. All staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Lynn. She speaks English, and made sure we were comfortable. Another staff member also very kind and perceptive. She went and got me a bottle of cold water pretty much as soon as I walked in having come back from walking around outside. They were also accommodating. They didn't have an issue with us switching rooms after we stayed one night. The room we had was simply too small for my family of three. They even showed us the bigger rooms and allowed us to choose which room we preferred. We paid a little extra for a room that is meant for four people, but it was worth it.

I made good memories while I was in China. This hotel is a very reasonable choice with excellent location, culture, shopping, service, and price. I'm going to choose this place next time I come to China. Especially as many people have told me, the employees are really kind. From the first check-in, they welcome you with warm words and actions, and laundry is included in the service. I asked for it because the output was urgent, but the staff here (lin) responded very well. Thank you.

Service was excellent. Staff was helpful with reservations for attractions, laundry, etc. However, toilet flushing and water supply broke down during our 9 days stay.
