A hotel with character, this will be one of my favorites. The room was large, as I think there are only 5, and obviously modernized with a shower and toilet from the original, but it was done well and it's very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, with breakfasts that are made to order, and they even allow you to order two on those days you are extremely peckish. There is an elevator too! Very clean, very safe and delightfully beautiful.

Acomodação confortável, com boa higiene; boa localização na Candelária e ótimo atendimento, principalmente pelo Francisco. Os pontos negativos são quarto mal iluminado e falta de ducha higiênica ou bidê no banheiro.

Beautiful space but uncomfortably formal and quiet - it just feels odd, empty and silent . everyone whispers like in a funeral home. Need a fountain or music or something alive Location is great, Bathrooms are not very private or separated from sleeping area

Excellent breakfast, ornate interior and rooms, fantastic location in Candelaria in short walking distance to all the major attractions and museums in the area. Very friendly staff.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, but if there are no reservations, it’s closed. There are many in the walking distance.

We stayed in a lovely quiet room (La Traviata) which was beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and firm and they gave us complementary bottles of water. The bathrobes were a nice touch as it is quite chilly in Bogota. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water.
Richard was extremely helpful from checkin onwards and made us fantastic coffee, freshly squeezed juice, french toast and fruit plates for breakfast. The breakfast was made to order with a wide range of options to choose from, including a variety of fresh juices, fruit plates, pancakes and cooked breakfasts if you wanted them.
Francisco was also really helpful and friendly. He booked us a taxi for the airport which made things really easy.
The hotel is beautiful and a very short walk from the Museo Botero and the cathedral among other sites. It is very secure and we felt very safe wandering around the Candelaria area.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location for proximity to cultural and arts centers. Great restaurants are abundant and within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious with a luxurious atmosphere.
