Great surroundings with forests around. Great staff . Rooms are small and thin walls. Towels and room amenities are dated. Good for a quick stay.

Amazing property. Great trail, we did an improvised night walk ourselves and saw lots of animals including an owl. 4 types of breakfast to choose from (all very tasty) and 3 to 5pm coffee with cakes. One of the highlights of our trip.

The staff was bery helpful, especially Eva, the receptionist. The property was beautifully designed with a network of interesting trails. Beautiful birds could be seen from the balconies and common areas. Breakfast was delicious. We met many wonderful people

A lovely stay in this lodge, which is in the heart of the Forest. The nature trail was great and we saw lots of wildlife in the trees and around the property - I have never seen so many hummingbirds! We enjoyed the breakfast where you can choose an option from the menu and it is freshly prepared. The staff at reception were very helpful and booked us taxis to go into Santa Elena in the evening (only about 5 - 10 min drive away) so that we could access the restaurants. The only negative I have is that the lodges are very dark and the floors are very slippery as they are polished wood. The room was very clean and well maintained.

Staff is very helpful, resourceful and friendly. Clean rooms. Located in quiet area, close to the forest. Good sustainability ratings. Happy to bring my family here. Strongly recommend!

The host was so kind! Our stay was way too short. Try to stay at least 2 nights, more would be better

The Cala Lodge is so eco conscious, views are phenomenal , nature walk, birds…wow! Staff is extremely kind and breakfast was delicious. Recommendations were appreciated. Room so cute and comfy. A small coffee maker/hot water maker in room would be amazing but only a suggestion. Was a wonderful experience and close to cloud forest!

View and birds were astonding

Amazing place to stay in Monteverde! Very comfortable rooms and our porch had a view into a wooded spot where several different birds greeted us everyday. The walking trail on the property is a great place to see additional birds. We saw motmots, trogons, and several different kinds of hummingbirds. The breakfast is also excellent and filling to start your day. They also offer complimentary coffee in the afternoon. Emmanuel was a great host and help us change a booking for us. I highly recommend Cala Lodge!

Immerse in the nature. beautifull

Hôtel très bien placé et chambre confirme à nos attentes avec une belle terrasse. Petit déjeuner très bien dans un cadre nature. Sentier à visiter riche en animaux qui est dans l’hôtel pour une durée de 35 minutes (gratuit) Excellent gel douche dans la salle de bain. Une très grande gentillesse de tout le personnel et avec de précieux conseils sur les activités autours À réserver sans hésiter
